A multifunctional image forming apparatus includes: a communication device communicable with a server providing a service related to image formation with the user; a display operation device having a display function, for receiving a user operation; and an image forming unit for forming an image in response to a user instruction received through the display operation device. The multifunctional image forming apparatus receives an input operation by the user through the display operation device, displays a screen in accordance with the input operation and, in addition, executes a user registration process for the service provided by the server through communication with the server through the communication device, and displays a screen thereof.

Provided are an image forming apparatus capable of setting a printing size of a margin by using a preview displayed in an enlarged manner, and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium. When a pinch-in operation performed with respect to a particular region at a left end in a whole page preview displayed on a display section has been accepted, an MFP displays a left end preview in an enlarged manner to be larger in size than the particular region at the left end in the whole page preview. When a left-to-right swipe operation performed with respect to the displayed left end preview has been accepted, the MFP sets a size specified by the swipe operation as a printing size of a margin of a page as a target of the preview, and displays a whole page preview and a left end preview, both reflecting a margin having the set size.

In a mediation server a processor registers association information and the authentication information for receiving a service from a service provider server to be correlated with each other. The association information is concerned with first and second communication apparatuses. When a first request including the association information is received from the first communication apparatus, the processor performs first communication with the first communication apparatus and the service provider server by using the first authentication information. The first communication is for the first communication apparatus to receive the service from the service provider server. When a second request including the association information is received from the second communication apparatus, the processor performs second communication with the second communication apparatus and the service provider server by using the first authentication information. The second communication is for the second communication apparatus to receive the service from the service provider server.

According to an embodiment, a printer includes a display device and a controller device. The display device displays one of product information received from an external device and product information recorded in a memory device, as product-information-to-be-printed. When the printer is incapable of receiving the product information from the external device, the controller device controls the display device to display the product information recorded in the memory device, in a display mode indicating that the product-information-to-be-printed is the product information recorded in the memory device.

An information processing apparatus includes a setting value input unit, a first memory, and a second memory. The setting value input unit displays a setting item selection screen for selecting a setting item for which a setting value is to be input, displays, in response to selection of a setting item on the setting item selection screen, a setting value input screen for inputting a setting value of the setting item, and receives a setting value. The first memory stores an additional program for implementing a newly added additional function. The second memory stores a plug-in program which is configured to be able to dynamically cooperate with a system program that controls the entire information processing apparatus and which contains information for inputting a setting value necessary to implement the additional function.

A display/input device has a display portion and a touch panel portion. The display portion displays selection keys and displays a setting screen of a selected setting item. The touch panel portion is provided for the display portion to detect a touch position of user input and a tap-and-drag operation in which while a touch is maintained the touched position is moved. When a tap-and-drag operation is detected within the display position of a selection key, the display portion displays a setting item explanation screen that explains the setting item corresponding to the selection key at the position where the tap-and-drag operation has been made.

A printing system includes: a printing apparatus printing an image acquired from a providing apparatus which provides a service for sharing the image; and a communication apparatus. The printing apparatus includes: a first acquiring unit configured to acquire service information; a first transmitting unit configured to transmit the service information; a first receiving unit configured to receive print setting information; a second transmitting unit configured to transmit a command to request the image; a second receiving unit configured to receive the image from the providing apparatus; and a first printing unit configured to print the image on the basis of the print setting information, and the communication apparatus includes: a third receiving unit configured to receive the service information; a second acquiring unit configured to acquire the print setting information corresponding to the service information; and a third transmitting unit configured to transmit the print setting information.

In an image processing apparatus that communicates with a server apparatus, specific information indicating a function of the server apparatus is acquired from the server apparatus in advance. The image processing apparatus performs control so that, when data to be printed is selected, data to be printed which cannot be converted, and for which it is determined based on the acquired specific information that the server apparatus cannot perform conversion cannot be selected as a printing candidate.

An image processing apparatus including a reader, a storage configured to store identification information, one or more setting operations, and one or more pieces of state information in association with each other, each setting operation being a previously-set operation of operations executable by the image processing apparatus, each piece of the state information indicating a predetermined apparatus state of apparatus states in which the image processing apparatus is allowed to be, and a controller configured to control the reader to read the identification information from a recording medium, acquire particular state information indicating a particular apparatus state of the image processing apparatus, and when determining that the acquired particular state information is coincident with a specific piece of the state information, perform a particular operation of the one or more setting operations that is stored in the storage in association with the specific piece of the state information.

An information processing apparatus includes a receiving part that receives processing information based on voice; and a controller that performs control so that the processing information indicated by the voice received by the receiving part is displayed on a display. The receiving part further receives modification of the processing information displayed on the display, and the controller further performs control so that the modification received by the receiving part is reflected in processing received by the receiving part.
