The present disclosure discloses methods and systems for allowing a user to add content from an external medium to a job submitted at a multi-function device. The method includes receiving a job at the multi-function device for a pre-defined operation. The method further includes providing a user interface at the multi-function device including an option for adding the content from the external medium. Once the option is selected, a code generated corresponding to the job is displayed at the multi-function device. Upon scanning the code, the user selects the content to be added and provides details of the content to be added from the external medium. Finally, the selected content is added in the job resulting in a final output.

Disclosed are some implementations of systems, apparatus, methods and computer program products for handling multiple overflows of content during pagination of a web document. A first tree representing a web document is obtained. A first page element including one or more elements of the first tree is generated, where the elements include a first Document Object Model (DOM) element. Coordinates of the first DOM element within the first page element are calculated. A first context associated with the first DOM element is pushed onto a context stack. An overflow of the first DOM element is detected in relation to the first page element based, at least in part, on the coordinates. Responsive to detecting the overflow, the context stack is added to an overflow list and the first page element is modified such that the first DOM element or portion thereof is removed from the first page element. A second page element is generated based, at least in part, on the overflow list such that the second page element includes the first DOM element.

There is provided with an information processing apparatus. Print data of a plurality of pages are acquired. Quality requirement data including information indicating a quality requirement for a print product are generated based on the print data in a data-by-data basis or in a page-by-page basis, and information for specifying whether the quality requirement is defined in the data-by-data basis or defined in the page-by-page basis is generated. The print data and the quality requirement data are transmitted to a printing service for a print request.

A method for identifying a printer and printing is provided. The method includes transmitting, from each of a plurality of printers, a wireless beacon. The method includes receiving, at a printer, an instruction from a mobile device to print information, wherein the instruction is received via a wireless network, the mobile device determining, based on radio signal strength of wireless beacons, which of the plurality of printers is closest to the mobile device and selecting and coupling to the printer via the wireless network to send the instruction to the printer. The method includes printing, at the printer selected by the mobile device, the information in accordance with the instruction.

Provided are a device and a method of generating printing information. The method includes acquiring at least one image part by splitting a basic image acquired based on a user input; determining a target article corresponding to the basic image from a three-dimensional (3D) article list stored in a database (DB) by using the at least one image part; providing a graphical user interface (GUI) capable of editing a shape of the target article according to a user input; and editing the shape of the target article, based on a user input via the GUI, and generating printing information used to 3D print the edited target article.

An apparatus, system, and method of controlling transmission of an image, each of which: displays, on a display, an image to a plurality of users, the plurality of users sharing a use of the shared terminal; obtains, from a first privately-owned terminal owned by a first user of the plurality of users, first terminal identification information for identifying the first privately-owned terminal; transmits an authentication request for authenticating the first privately-owned terminal to a terminal management server, the authentication request including the first terminal identification information of the first privately-owned terminal; receives an authentication result of authenticating the first privately-owned terminal from the terminal management server; and when the authentication result indicates that the first privately-owned terminal is a legitimate terminal, and transmits a print request for printing data relating to the image being displayed to a printer through a network.

A disclosed information processing system includes a terminal, and an information processing apparatus. The terminal includes an acquisition unit configured to acquire first identification information from outside, and a transmitter configured to transmit the first identification information and second identification information for identifying a user of the terminal to the information processing apparatus. The information processing apparatus includes a receiver configured to receive the first identification information and the second identification information, and a controller configured to cause a device associated with a combination of the first identification information and the second identification information received by the receiver to execute a process.

An example image forming apparatus includes a communication device to communicate with an external apparatus, a printing engine to perform a printing job, and a processor to, based on receiving a printing request for the printing job, perform accounting processing for the printing job, and control the printing engine such that the printing job is performed. The processor, based on an error occurring in the printing job, is to control the communication device to transmit proceeding history information of the printing job and accounting information to another image forming apparatus.

An information processing system includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to: accept a job requesting print output of print data from an information terminal; determine one or more printing companies having a printing machine that can execute a job, among a plurality of printing companies, based on a state of a printing machine held by each one of the plurality of printing companies and a content of the job; and transmit information of the one or more printing companies determined, to the information terminal to display the information on the information terminal.

An information processing apparatus includes a reception unit configured to receive print data containing quality request data, a generation unit configured to generate a job based on the quality request data received by the reception unit, a transmission unit configured to transmit the job generated by the generation unit to a job processing apparatus, and another generation unit configured to generate product quality data indicating a quality of a product generated by processing the job by the job processing apparatus, wherein, in a case where the quality of the product does not satisfy a quality requested by the quality request data, the another generation unit generates the product quality data indicating that the quality requested by the quality request data is not satisfied.
