IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS THAT PRINTS IMAGE FORMING DATA INCLUDING SENTENCES IN PLURALITY OF LANGUAGES, ON RECORDING MEDIUM
An image forming apparatus includes a control device and an image forming device. The control device acts as an acquirer, an inclusion decider, a visibility decider, and a form changer. The acquirer acquires user language information. The inclusion decider decides whether the image forming data includes the user's language indicated by the user language information. The visibility decider decides a level of visibility of a portion of the image forming data described in the user's language, according to a predetermined criteria of inappropriateness. The form changer changes a display form of the portion of the image forming data described in the user's language to a different display form, when it is decided that the visibility corresponds to the criteria of inappropriateness. The image forming device forms an image based on the image forming data in the display form changed, on a recording medium.
Systems and methods for fabricating variable digital optical images by printing directly on generic optical matrices
Variable digital optical images may be fabricated using generic optical matrices. A generic optical matrix may have a substrate and a plurality of pixels corresponding to color and sub-pixels corresponding to non-color effects. The pixels may include first pixels corresponding to a first color and second pixels corresponding to a second color. The sub-pixels may include first sub-pixels corresponding to a first non-color effect and second sub-pixels corresponding to a second non-color effect. Individual ones of the pixels and sub-pixels of the generic optical matrix may be obliterated according to a negative while remaining pixels and/or sub-pixels may be preserved. The remaining pixels and sub-pixels may form an optical image corresponding to a base image. The optical image may be colored based on the remaining pixels. The optical image may exhibit non-color effects corresponding to the remaining sub-pixels. The optical image may comprise a hologram or a stereo image.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An image forming apparatus that executes hidden-surface elimination can output an image containing an undercoat desired by a user. The image forming apparatus includes an elimination unit that eliminates a region included in a region of a second drawing object in a layer below a first drawing object and overlapping the first drawing object. The first drawing object is contained in an intermediate data which is generated based on page description language data. In a case where the second drawing object is not a drawing object indicating an undercoat image, the elimination unit eliminates the region included in the region of the second drawing object and overlapping the first drawing object. In a case where the second drawing object is a drawing object indicating an undercoat image, the elimination unit does not eliminate the region included in the region of the second drawing object and overlapping the first drawing object.
Image processing apparatus converting target partial image data to partial print data using first profile or second profile
An image processing apparatus performs a first generation process generating first partial print data by a first color conversion process using a first profile corresponding to a first direction, and a second generation process generating second partial print data using a second color conversion process using a second profile. When a color difference is smaller than a reference, the apparatus sets a printing direction to the first direction, and outputs the first partial print data to a print execution unit for printing the first partial print data while the main scan moves in the first direction. When the color difference is larger than or equal to the reference, the apparatus sets the printing direction to the second direction, and outputs the second partial print data to the print execution unit for printing the second partial print data while the main scan moves in the second direction.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
In conventional color shading (CS) processing for correcting color unevenness with high precision, even an image to preserve pure colors can be corrected to use inks of other colors. Color unevenness is more appropriately corrected to provide a favorable image by properly using pure color preservation information and pure color non-preservation information as color correction information for the CS processing.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD THEREOF AND STORAGE MEDIUM
In processing to thicken a white thin line, the application range thereof is controlled to as to prevent a white thin line not intended by a user from being thickened. The thickening processing is performed for a line that has a density less than or equal to a predetermined density and includes a pixel having attribute information of a drawing object; and not performed for a line that has a density less than or equal to the predetermined density and includes a pixel not having attribute information of the drawing object.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS THAT DETERMINES WHETHER TO SET A COLOR MODE BASED ON PROCESSING CORRESPONDING TO A MONOCHROME MODE, METHOD, STORAGE MEDIUM STORING PROGRAM, AND SYSTEM
An information processing apparatus sets a color mode in place of a monochrome mode on condition that the monochrome mode and multiplexing of additional information on a print target image are set as print settings based on an input image data; generates, based on the input image data, color image data corresponding to printing in a color mode which represents a color of the monochromated print target image by a value of a color signal; performs, for the color image data generated by the generation unit, processing for multiplexing the additional information on the print target image; and causes a printing apparatus to print, in the color mode, a multiplexed image on which the additional information is multiplexed.
DETERMINING PRINT MODES OF PRINT APPARATUSES
A print mode determination method is disclosed. The method comprises receiving image data defining parameters of pixels of an image to be printed using a print apparatus; identifying, based on the image data, a first fill area in the image that exceeds a defined threshold area, wherein the first fill area is to be printed in a first color; determining, based on the image data, a first proportion of print agent of each of a plurality of colors to be used to print the first color; and determining, based on the determined first proportions of print agent, a print mode to be used by the print apparatus to print the image. An apparatus and a machine-readable medium are also disclosed.
Image Processing Device Generating Print Data Using Profile Corresponding to Printing Direction
In an image processing device, a controller is configured to perform: selecting; generating; and outputting. The selecting selects a target partial image one by one from a plurality of partial images. The target partial image is represented by target partial image data. The generating generates partial print data for a partial print by executing an image process on the target partial image data. The partial print forms the target partial image while moving a print head in a printing direction. The partial print forms the target partial image while moving a print head in a printing direction. The image process includes a color conversion process. The color conversion process is executed on the target partial image data using one of a first profile and a second profile selected in accordance with the printing direction set for the partial print. The outputting outputs the partial print data to the printer.
