Detachable radio frequency identification switch tag
A radio frequency identification (RFID) switch tag is disclosed. This RFID switch tag includes a base component having an ultra-high frequency (UHF) booster, and a detachable component having at least one UHF RFID module and a high frequency (HF) RFID module. In some embodiments, the detachable component is positioned in close proximity to the base component in a first configuration of the RFID switch tag such that the at least one UHF RFID module is sufficiently coupled to the UHF booster in the base component to form an UHF RFID system having a desired performance. The detachable component can also be separated from the base component to obtain a second configuration of the RFID switch tag, and the HF RFID module remains functional within the detached detachable component so that the detachable component can be used as a standalone HF RFID tag.

CONTACTLESS COMMUNICATION DEVICE
A contactless communication device includes an electronic integrated circuit chip and an antenna coupled to the electronic integrated circuit chip to supply an electric signal for powering the electronic integrated circuit chip. An ambient luminosity detection element is coupled to the electronic integrated circuit chip. An ambient luminosity level measured by the ambient luminosity detection element is supplied to the electronic integrated circuit chip for comparison to a darkness threshold. A contactless communication is authorized only when the measured ambient luminosity level is greater than the darkness threshold.
CONTACTLESS CARD WITH OPERATOR CONTROLLED STRUCTURE
The present disclosure is directed to a contactless card including an actuation security structure that is actuated to provide authorization in accessing identifying information on an integrated circuit within the contactless card. In at least one embodiment, the actuation security structure includes a pair of conductive layers and a pair of electrodes. Ends of the pair of conductive layers overlap respective ones of the pair of electrodes. The ends of the pair of conductive layers are at and in a first elastically deformable region and the respective ones of the pair of electrodes are at and in a second elastically deformable region. An owner of the contactless card may provide authorization to access the identification information on the contactless card by applying force to both the first and second elastically deformable regions inward resulting in the ends of the conductive layers moving into electrical communication with the pair of electrodes.
RFID SWITCH TAG
A switchable radio-frequency identification (RFID) tag device comprising: a first RFID module positioned on a first plane; at least one un-tuned antenna section positioned on a second plane, wherein the first plane is positioned parallel to the second plane; a second RFID module positioned on the first plane; a third RFID module positioned on the first plane; and a sliding mechanism configured to move between a first position, a second position, and a third position; and wherein, in the first position, the first RFID module is coupled to the at least one un-tuned antenna section to form a tuned RFID tag, and the second and third RFID modules are detuned and/or inoperable; and in the second position, the second RFID module is coupled to the at least one un-tuned antenna section to form a tuned RFID tag, and the first RFID module and third RFID module are detuned and/or inoperable; and in the third position, the third RFID module is coupled to the at least one un-tuned antenna section to form a tuned RFID tag, and the first and second RFID modules are detuned and/or inoperable.
CONTACTLESS TRANSPONDER AND METHOD
According to one aspect, a contactless transponder comprises a memory, an antenna configured to receive signals, a contactless interface coupled to the antenna and configured to emit memory access requests according to the signals received, a wired interface configured to receive memory access requests, an arbitration module configured to authorize access to the memory either for access requests emitted by the contactless interface or for access requests received by the wired interface, and wherein the wired interface is also configured to receive shutdown controls and transmit these shutdown controls to the arbitration module, the arbitration module being configured to be able to shut down the contactless interface when it receives a shutdown control.
Wearable device and electrical connector with magnetic attraction
A wearable device and an electrical connector with magnetic attraction are provided. The wearable device includes a first body and a second body. The first body has a first pivotal structure and two inner walls respectively provided with a first magnetic attraction member and a plurality of first terminal structures. The second body has a second pivotal structure, and is provided with a second magnetic attraction member and a plurality of second terminal structures. When the second pivotal structure is pivotally connected to the first pivotal structure, the second body is rotatable relative to the first body, and the first and second magnetic attraction members are moved by following the first and second bodies. When the first and second magnetic attraction members are magnetically attracted to each other so as to fix the first body and the second body, the first terminal structures contact the second terminal structures.
Chip card with on/off mechanisms
Chip cards that are protected from unauthorized access to information and instructions stored in the chip card's chip by unauthorized persons using illicit devices that emulate chip readers to interrogate the chips in chip cards and obtain or download confidential data stored in the chips. The chip cards are disabled when not ready to be used, such that the chips cannot be accessed by illicit devices, thus protecting the chip card owner and/or issuer from potential losses.
Wearable device with integrated RFID or NFC chipset
A wearable device with integrated RFID or NFC chipset, includes: a microchip for management and encryption of radio-frequency communications in RFID or NFC standards; at least one antenna, including metal coils to transmit/receive signals in RFID or NFC standards and/or metal coils to generate the electric current required for operation; a memory chip for storing data and encryption keys, manageable by the microchip; a wearable object, integrating the components of the device; a reversible closing buckle for the wearable object, associated with the opposite ends of the coils of the antenna. The buckle can determine in the coils a point of discontinuity, capable of reversibly inhibiting the respective transmission/reception functions of signals in RFID or NFC standards and of generating electric current via electromagnetic induction, thereby preventing unauthorized transmission by the microchip of the data and of the encryption keys of the same, contained in the memory chip.
