ELECTRONIC TRANSACTION MECHANISM
An electronic transaction card communicates with an add-on slot of an intelligent electronic device. The add-on slot may be a memory card slot. The intelligent electronic device may be a mobile phone or other device with or without network connectivity. The electronic transaction card may have magnetic field producing circuitry compatible with magnetic card readers, smartcard circuitry, other point-of-sale interfaces, or any combination thereof.
Payment Card of Multiple Payment Chips
A set of smart card wallets with a set of smart chips for compact use comprising a body adapted to hold more than one smart chip and a set of coils associated with the set of smart chips for communicating information associated with an account from the set of smart chips.
MOBILE PHONE WITH MAGNETIC CARD EMULATION
An electronic transaction card communicates with an add-on slot of an intelligent electronic device. The add-on slot may be a memory card slot. The intelligent electronic device may be a mobile phone or other device with or without network connectivity. The electronic transaction card may have magnetic field producing circuitry compatible with magnetic card readers, smartcard circuitry, other point-of-sale interfaces, or any combination thereof.
Memory card access module and memory card access method
A memory card access module and a memory card access method are provided. The memory card access method is applied to an electronic device. A processing unit of the electronic device accesses a memory card through a memory card slot. The method includes steps of: detecting whether the memory card supports a Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) interface; when the memory card does not support the PCIe interface, controlling the processing unit to access the memory card through a data transmission path and performing data format conversion between a transmission interface and the PCIe interface using a memory card access unit disposed on the data transmission path; and when the memory card supports the PCIe interface, controlling the processing unit to access the memory card through a PCIe data transmission path that allows the processing unit and the memory card to transmit data through the PCIe interface.
Removable non-volatile storage card
Systems and apparatus are provided for a removable non-volatile storage device. An exemplary embodiment may provide an apparatus that may comprise a package that may have a first and a second sets of contact pins. The package may have a dimension and the first set of contact pins may be arranged according to a specification of a first type of storage device. The second set of contact pins may be configured to conduct a subset of electrical signals for a second type of storage device. The package may further comprise a controller inside the package and configured to function as the first type of storage device when the first set of contact pins are electrically connected to a host and as the second type of storage device when both the first set and the second set of contact pins are electrically connected to the host.
Cardholder sleeve with selectable wireless communication capabilities
A cardholder sleeve with selectable wireless communication capabilities is described. The cardholder sleeve includes two or more slots each configured to hold an integrated chip card. Each of the slots is surrounded by shielding material to shield the communication features of the card from skimming and prevent interference with other cards in the sleeve. The cardholder sleeve includes an internal card reader for each of the cards and a selection mechanism that enables a user to select a card in the cardholder sleeve for use. The cardholder sleeve further includes at least one transceiver in communication with the internal card readers that operates as a repeater to wirelessly transmit information read from the chip of the selected card by the respective internal card reader to external card readers such that the selected card need not be removed from the sleeve to be used.
Card tray, card tray plug-in device, and terminal
The present disclosure provides a card tray, a card tray plug-in device, and a terminal. The card tray may include a first supporting portion and a second supporting portion connected with the first supporting portion. The first and the second supporting portions may both be configured for placing data cards, and configured on a same side of the card tray along a thickness direction of the card tray. The card tray may include an electrical connection portion, a data card supported on the first supporting portion and/or another data card supported on the second supporting portion may electrically connect with a card holder of a terminal through the electrical connection portion.
