The present invention concerns a secure sealing device 101 comprising at least a closure element 102 with an electrically conductive path 120, and a locking body 103 comprising an electric circuit with a data carrier and a radiofrequency transceiver with a predetermined working wavelength. Said locking body 103 is configured be locked to at least one free end 102a of said closure element 102 to attach the locking body 103 to an object to be sealed. The electrically conductive path 120 of the closure element 102 has a length which is substantially equal to X or ½.sup.X times half said predetermined working wavelength of the radiofrequency transceiver, thus enhancing the range of the radiofrequency transceiver by inductive coupling.

Blister package with integrated sensor and electronic tag
09741222 · 2017-08-22 ·

A blister package with an integrated RFID tag is provided. The conductive lidding material is modified to serve not only to seal some contents within some formed blister film, but also to act as an RFID tag antenna. An electronic circuit is electrically connected to the lidding film antenna. Methods of manufacture which integrate with conventional blister package manufacturing processes are also provided.

Tamper credential

Readers are associated with a number of access credentials and, once authenticated by the reader, may grant the holder of the access credential access to a secured asset. Readers may become the target of attack, such as when an unauthorized party attempts to gain access to the interior of the reader or removes the reader from an installed location. Once removed the reader may be reinstalled in another location or a counterfeit reader used in its place. By providing a paired tamper credential, the reader may deny otherwise authorized access to the secured asset if the tamper credential fails to respond appropriately. The tamper credential may fail to respond due to distance, such as when the reader alone is relocated, or the tamper credential is damaged, such as during an attempt to gain access the interior of the reader and/or remove the reader from its installed location.

Fastener with embedded identifier circuit

A can includes an at least partially electrically conductive body having a seal region delimited by a predetermined breaking edge on a front wall. An opening element bears against the front wall and is connected to the front wall at least at one point in an initial position. When the opening element is pivoted into an opening position, the seal region tears away at the predetermined breaking edge and forms an opening for emptying the contents of the can. The opening element has a metallic basic body which has a loop with an electrical interruption at one end region. An antenna and a transponder chip which is connected to the antenna are provided. The antenna bears at least partially against and is electrically insulated from the basic body. The antenna is free of interruptions, at least partially along the loop which is electrically interrupted by the interruption.

RFID device with elongated structure

A radio frequency identification (“RFID”) antenna structure such as may be found on a tag, label or inlay for use with consumer products that has a conductive surface. The RFID structure of the present invention can be attached to the conductive surface without significantly modifying the performance of the RFID device. The RFID device has first and second portions, with the first portion having a first antenna pattern and the second portion including an elongate section for attachment to the consumer item.

A system for tracking use of a medical device includes an electrosurgical generator, a readable module and a read module. The electrosurgical generator is configured to selectively deliver an electrosurgical energy signal to an electrosurgical delivery device connected to the electrosurgical generator. The readable module is connected to the electrosurgical delivery device and configured to uniquely identify the electrosurgical delivery device. The read module is in communication with the electrosurgical generator that identifies the read module, the read module configured to identify the readable module and further configured to determine the viability of the electrosurgical delivery device. Delivery of electrosurgical energy to the electrosurgical delivery device is enabled by the read module if the electrosurgical delivery device is a viable device.

TAMPER RESISTANT TAG
