Asset management devices and methods
Systems, devices and methods for monitoring and managing parts, enterprise resources and other assets, and alleviating risks, in a complex collaboration environment are provided. A device with a hardware- and software-based control system scans and/or writes unique asset-related information within a plurality of chemical, electromagnetic, or written data-bearing tags within, on or throughout an asset for use in a manufacturing, maintenance and/or tracking process. A system records that asset-specific information (e.g., using secure network(s) and/or a blockchain), providing it for later access and modification by a number of trusted users, to track and control manufacturing-, maintenance-relevant or other factors. An enterprise resource planning system both outputs information to, and receives information from, the control system, reconciling changes in the data.
Detectable folded coil
A folded coil label and associated methods of making a folded coil label are provided. On example folded core label may include a core, a coil, and a capacitor. The coil may be wrapped around the core and connected to the capacitor to form a resonant circuit. The coil may be formed of angled traces wrapped around the core to form turns of the coil, and each angled trace may be electrically and physically connected in series to an adjacent angled trace to form a helical structure of the coil.
Elongate flexible tag
Systems and methods for providing a tag. The tag comprising a flexible elongate structure comprising a cord or a cable; an electronic thread device integrated into the cord or cable that is operative to wirelessly communicate with external devices for inventory management or security purposes; and/or an Electronic Article Surveillance (“EAS”) component integrated into the cord or cable.
Radio frequency identification (RFID) tag location verification using acousto-magnetic detection
Example implementations include a method, apparatus, and computer-readable medium for electronic article surveillance (EAS), comprising transmitting concurrently, an acousto-magnetic (AM) interrogation signal into an AM interrogation zone of an EAS system, and a radio frequency identification (RFID) interrogation signal into an RFID interrogation zone of the EAS system, the AM interrogation zone and the RFID interrogation zone overlapping to form a zone of interest. The implementations further include indicating, by the EAS system, a presence of a first tag of the EAS system in the zone of interest upon a concurrent detection of both an RFID response signal of the first tag in response to the RFID interrogation signal and an AM response signal of the first tag in response to the AM interrogation signal.
SEMI-HARD MAGNETIC ALLOY FOR AN ACTIVATION STRIP, DISPLAY ELEMENT, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A SEMI-HARD MAGNETIC ALLOY
A semi-hard magnetic alloy for activation strips in magnetic anti-theft systems is provided. The alloy consists essentially of 5 to 15 wt % Ni, 0.5 to 8 wt % Mn, 0.2 to 4 wt % Cu, 0 to 2 wt % Ai, 0 to 2 wt % Ti, the remainder iron and up to 1 wt % impurities, where 0.5 wt %<(Cu+Al+Ti)<5 wt %.
ARTICLE SURVEILLANCE TAG ATTACH/DETACH MECHANISM
The present disclosure relates to a mechanism inside of the tag which detaches the tag when presented to a detacher system containing a rotating magnet array that retracts the tag pin allowing the tag to be removed from the garment.
Theft-prevention system and method with magnetic field detection
An electronic theft-alerting system, including magnetometers, such as multiaxis magnetometers, arranged in respective stations and configured to output respective vector signals representing movement of respective magnetic field vectors; and a signal processor coupled to receive the first and second vector signals, and configured to detect a corresponding movement of a first magnetic field vector and a second magnetic field vector. Detecting commencement and continuance of fluctuation the first magnetic field vector, determining whether to raise or forgo to raise an alarm that warns about a possible theft-related event in response to the determining of commencement and continuance of fluctuation of the first magnetic field vector or the second magnetic field vector.
Electronic article surveillance labels
There is disclosed an electronic article surveillance label and a cover label for an electronic article surveillance label for small high value hard goods such as, but no limited to, cosmetics, perfumes, medication, health-care items, DIY accessories and the like. The electronic article surveillance label and cover label include a flexible support having a bottom section with a soft glue area and a top section with a strong glue area.
ELONGATE FLEXIBLE TAG
Systems and methods for providing a tag. The tag comprising a flexible elongate structure comprising a cord or a cable; an electronic thread device integrated into the cord or cable that is operative to wirelessly communicate with external devices for inventory management or security purposes; and/or an Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) component integrated into the cord or cable.
