The method involves generating compensation factors corresponding to each pixel of the display and using those compensation factors to control the illumination of the display. The aspects of the method that incorporate the operation point for generating a compensation factor may also be applied to analog driving of AMOLED displays.

Scheme for operating under-display camera to prevent light interference from display

Embodiments relate to coordinating operation of an under-display camera and a portion of a display panel over the camera to reduce impact of light emitted from the display panel during light sensing periods of the under-display camera. Depending on the level of light in the surrounding of an electronic device, the light emission period of the display panel and the light sensing period of the under-display camera are adjusted. The timing of the light emission period and the light sensing period are controlled so that a row of pixels in the display panel is not in the light emission period when corresponding row or rows of sensors in the under-display camera are in the light sensing period. In this way, the under-display camera may capture images without the influence of light emitted from the display panel.

Provided are a driver circuit, a light-emitting panel and a preparation method thereof, and a display device. The driver circuit includes a terminal connection module, a drive module, and a short-circuit protection module. The terminal connection module, the drive module, and the short-circuit protection module are connected in series between a first power supply terminal and a second power supply terminal, and the short-circuit protection module is connected in series between the terminal connection module and the second power supply terminal. The terminal connection module is connected to an original light-emitting unit so that the original light-emitting unit is connected in series between the first power supply terminal and the second power supply terminal. The short-circuit protection module is configured to be disconnected in a case where the original light-emitting unit is short-circuited.

Disclosed is a display device and a method for controlling a device. The display device includes a plurality of light emitting diode (LED) modules arranged in a matrix, a plurality of driver integrated circuits (ICs) configured to drive the plurality of LED modules, and a controller connected to a plurality of first line driver ICs arranged on a first line, among the plurality of driver ICs, and configured to provide a signal for controlling the plurality of driver ICs through the plurality of first line driver ICs arranged on the first line. Each of the plurality of driver ICs is connected to at least one adjacent driver IC. The signal for controlling each of the plurality of driver ICs comprises, for each LED module corresponding to each of the plurality of driver ICs, a channel signal for controlling each channel of the LED module, and a scan signal for controlling each scan line of the LED module.
