Adaptive active noise cancellation based on movement
A speaker system includes a speaker, a processor, and an active noise cancellation (ANC) circuit communicatively coupled with the processor. The ANC is configured to apply ANC on audio signals from outside the speaker system to generate a modified audio signal stream through the speaker. The application of ANC is to include generation of ANC signals to interfere with at least part of the audio signals from outside the speaker system in the modified audio signal stream. The processor is configured to determine of low-frequency energy at the speaker system, the low-frequency energy below a threshold frequency. The ANC circuit is configured to, based on the determination of low-frequency energy at the speaker system, perform a corrective action on application of ANC to the audio signals from outside the speaker system.
Method and system for reducing noise in a vehicle
Embodiments include a method and noise cancelling system for cancelling noise in a vehicle by operating at least one noise cancelling means in a first mode of operation to output a noise cancelling signal; receiving at least one input indicative of a state of the vehicle; determining if noise cancelling error conditions are present based on the at least one received input indicative of a state of the vehicle; and operating at least one noise cancelling means in a second mode of operation if noise cancelling error conditions are determined as present.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AMBIENT NOISE DETECTION, IDENTIFICATION AND MANAGEMENT
Examples of system for ambient aversive sound detection, identification and management are described. The system comprises an earpiece device with a microphone configured to capture ambient sound around a user and sample it into small segments of the ambient sound, a speaker and a regulator to regulate the ambient sound segment transmitted to the speaker. The system further comprises a processing unit that identifies aversive ambient sound signals in the captured sound segment and provide recommendation action to manage the aversive sound signal by removing, supressing, attenuating or masking the aversive signals.

PICKUP SENSOR AND BONE-CONDUCTION SPEAKER
According to the present invention, a diaphragm is disposed on a yoke. A recess is formed in the upper surface of the diaphragm. A first metal plate is disposed in the recess. A permanent magnet is disposed on the approximate center of the first metal plate. A second metal plate is disposed on the permanent magnet. The sizes of the first metal plate and the second metal plate are greater than that of the permanent magnet. That is, with respect to the permanent magnet, the first metal plate and the second metal plate are disposed so as to protrude outward beyond the permanent magnet in the longitudinal direction.
