A simulation system and method for simulating a noise environment of a vehicle includes a memory configured to store a reference sample signal and a noise sample signal, a control unit electrically connected to the memory and configured to generate a reference signal based on the reference sample signal, generate a noise signal based on the noise sample signal, and transmit the reference signal to a noise control system, and a speaker electrically connected to the control unit and configured to convert the noise signal into a sound wave and output the sound wave.
SOUND CONTROL DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A sound control device mounted in a vehicle and control method thereof includes obtaining whether an audio function is ON or OFF, and determining a maximum limit value for a displacement of a speaker due to a noise control signal according to whether the audio function is ON or OFF.
VEHICLE SOUND CONTROL DEVICE AND METHOD THEREOF
A sound control device in a vehicle and control method thereof may include obtaining energy per unit time of an audio signal corresponding to a preset low frequency band, calculating an allowable reference value based on a difference between a magnitude of energy per unit time of the audio signal and a magnitude of a preset maximum allowable input of a speaker, monitoring whether a magnitude of energy per unit time of a noise control signal for eliminating noise in the vehicle exceeds the allowable reference value, and adjusting a magnitude of the noise control signal when the magnitude of energy per unit time of the noise control signal exceeds the allowable reference value.
Adaptive noise cancellation for multi-rotor vehicle
A noise cancellation system for cancelling sounds within a vehicle. The noise cancellation system includes microphones, a camera, a controller, and speakers. The microphones are disposed adjacent to occupant locations, and configured to generate microphone signals representative of noise sounds and cancellation audio sounds. The camera is configured to generate a video signal that captures head configurations of the occupants. The controller is configured to receive rotor control signals, calculate hearing locations based on tracking data of the head configurations of the occupants, and generate a speaker signals based on the hearing locations, the microphone signals, and the rotor control signals. The speakers are configured to generate the cancellation audio sounds. The cancellation audio sounds attenuate the noise sounds.
Sound production device, sound-production-device equipped vehicle, and sound production method
A sound production device includes memories, processors, a rotation speed correlation value acquisition device configured to acquire a rotation speed correlation value of a rotating body, and a speaker. A noise order sound has a characteristic in which a sound pressure of the noise order sound reaches a maximum sound pressure in a first range of the rotation speed correlation value, and the sound pressure becomes smaller than the maximum sound pressure in second ranges adjacent to both sides the first range. When the rotation speed correlation value falls within the first range, the processors do not output a dummy noise. When the rotation speed correlation value falls within either of the second ranges, the processors output the dummy noise.
Urban air mobility noise reduction system and method
An urban air mobility (UAM) noise reduction system and method are provided, where the UAM noise reduction system includes a UAM configured to detect and to provide rotation per minute (RPM) information of a propeller and location coordinate information, and a noise canceling device configured to predict a noise canceling sound wave amplitude on the basis of the RPM information of the propeller and the location coordinate information received through the UAM and to output a noise canceling sound wave corresponding to the predicted noise canceling sound wave amplitude to the UAM.
ACTIVE SOUND CONTROL APPARATUS
An ASC apparatus, which actively generates a sound effect inside a cabin of a vehicle provided with an internal combustion engine and an electric motor as driving sources, includes: a reference signal generating unit which generates a harmonic reference signal based on a vehicle-speed-corresponding frequency, being a frequency based on a vehicle speed, by referring to waveform data; a driver seat speaker which outputs a sound including the sound effect; and a signal processing unit which generates a control signal that forms the sound effect by multiplying the reference signal by a sound effect gain related to the reference signal, and outputs the control signal to the driver seat speaker. The signal processing unit sets the sound effect gain based on a state of charge of a storage battery.
Vehicle engine harmonic sound control
A method that is accomplished in a vehicle engine harmonic modification system. A non-zero target engine harmonic signal that is representative of a target engine harmonic sound level in the vehicle cabin is provided. The target engine harmonic signal is used in an operation of the engine harmonic modification system so as to modify the level of engine harmonic sound in the vehicle cabin, to bring the engine harmonic sound level in the vehicle cabin closer to the target engine harmonic sound level.
