A head covering with a band portion in a shape of a flat strip or loop and a plurality of flat members that are connected to or a part of the band is disclosed. The flat members projects toward a top side of the band. An outer surface of the flat members includes or is made of a material that can be fastened to a certain corresponding type of material. Thereby, the invention provides a foundation for hairpieces having a fastening component that corresponds to a fastening component used in the invention. The flat members as a whole generally cover a scalp of a head but not completely, exposing the scalp through gaps between flat members. Especially, a top portion or a crown of a scalp is generally exposed due to an open-top construction of the head covering. However, as a single hairpiece is fastened to multiple flat members, the hairpiece in turn works to hold the multiple flat members together. When more hairpieces are attached to flat members, the flat members become structurally solid in a shape that conforms to the contour of the scalp. In so doing, hairpieces cover and bridge the gaps between flat members, thereby completely covering a head.

A Bharatnatyam headgear comprising a wearable hair net, the hair net being pliable and expandable to be worn over a dancer's head and covering the head, the wearable hair net matching a color of the dancer's hair. A circular piece is affixed to the hair net. The circular piece is capable of being positioned in a middle of a forehead at a forward end of the hair partition of the dancer. A forehead piece is affixed to the hair net, the forehead piece extending in a horizontal direction capable of being positioned to coincide with a hairline in a left and right direction and extending at least beyond eyebrows of the dancer. This invention provides a head scarf with hair weave. The device includes a flexible fabric base including a hair weave affixed to a lower side thereof. In one variation, the flexible fabric base includes a satin panel that is affixed atop the hair weave, whereby the satin panel contacts the wearer's scalp for providing a comfortable fit. The headband also includes a first plurality of hairpiece anchors secured to the frame portion and configured to retain a first plurality of hairpieces, each of the first plurality of hairpiece anchors extending in a forward direction for orienting the first plurality of hairpieces in a rearward direction. The headband further includes a second plurality of hairpiece anchors secured to the frame portion and configured to retain a second plurality of hairpieces, each of the second plurality of hairpiece anchors extending in the rearward direction for orienting the second plurality of hairpieces in the forward direction.

The invention as described is an elastic hair band ponytail to be worn in any type of hat for individuals that have hair loss for many different reasons. The elastic hair band ponytail has two alternating layers of sewn in hair tracks completely around the elastic band. The one inch elastic band and hair can be many variations of color to fit the needs of the user. The elastic band that has the hair tracks sewn in will be worn under any type of hat, visor, beanie, cap, or headband.

An attachment for a water-resistant head covering, the attachment comprising: an aesthetic headpiece, the aesthetic headpiece sized for a human head and resembling one of: human hair, headwear and a combination thereof; and one or more fasteners, the fasteners operative to removably secure the aesthetic headpiece to the head covering, the fasteners positioned on the aesthetic headpiece such that the aesthetic piece covers the water-resistant head covering when fastened thereto, and wherein the aesthetic headpiece, when fastened, is positioned on the human head to appear similar to the resemblance without the head covering.

A head scarf with bangs system including a head covering having an exterior-portion and an interior-portion including a hair-member. The head covering is a head scarf. The hair-member is integral to the head covering and affixed to the interior-portion. The hair-member is a hair extension extending from the head covering. The hair extension includes bangs positioned at a frontal section of the head covering functionally simulates natural-bangs. The head covering provides a combination the head covering and the hair extension for wearing on a head of a user.
