Methods, systems, apparatus, and tangible non-transitory carrier media encoded with one or more computer programs for achieving highly accurate timing alignment between spoken words in an audio recording and the written words in the associated transcript, and creating multi-media from transcript-aligned media recordings.

Recording user activity on a computer

The present disclosure relates to a method for recording user activity on a computer. The method includes creating a video file for a video sequence of a user interface of an application of the computer. Video frames may be recorded in the video file, wherein a video frame comprises data indicative of the visual representation of the user interface and corresponding timestamp, wherein the data of the video frame is parsable.

Exemplary embodiments of systems and methods are provided for automatically creating time-based video metadata for a video source and a video playback mechanism. An automated logging process can be provided for receiving a digital video stream, analyzing one or more frames of the digital video stream, extracting a time from each of the one or more frames analyzed, and creating a clock index file associating a time with each of the one or more analyzed frames. The process can further provide for parsing one or more received data files, extracting time-based metadata from the one or more parsed data files, and determining a frame of the digital video stream that correlates to the extracted time based metadata.

INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING PROGRAM

This information processing apparatus includes: displaying video content on a first display region 110 in a display section 240 as a first video, displaying the above-mentioned video content on a second display region 120 in the above-mentioned display section 240 as a second video delayed from the above-mentioned first video by a predetermined time, and setting a first tag inputted by a user into the above-mentioned first video and a second tag inputted by the above-mentioned user into the above-mentioned second video as tags for the above-mentioned video content.

System for recording and synchronizing audio and video associated with a UAV flight

A method for synchronizing an audio track that is being recorded at a first location with a video track that is being recorded at a second location, such as on a flying UAV, is disclosed. First, the audio and video recorders being to record sound and video. Then, a GPS receive is used to pick up the very accurate GPS clock signal. A real-time clock is also used locally to generate a real-time value. At a predetermined time, the GPS time data is interrogated and a time-stamp is generated. A video encoder is then used to embed the time-stamp, either during recording, or shortly thereafter. A networked audio recording device records audio with a time stamp acquired from the network. These respective time-stamps are then used in post-processing to accurately synchronize the audio and video tracks.

The present invention enables correct placement of an electronic mark on a frame of captured image data intended by a remote control apparatus performing monitoring. Monitoring image data with a time code is transmitted to an external device. A command (an electronic mark placement command, or the like) to which a time code value showing a command target frame in the monitoring image data is added is received from the remote control apparatus. Processing based on the command is performed on a frame corresponding to the time code value added to the command, among image data corresponding to the monitoring image data recorded on a recording medium.

Methods and apparatus for ordered serial synchronization of multimedia streams upon sensor changes

An apparatus includes a processor with first and second input ports and a memory operably coupled to the processor. The processor can detect streams of media samples at the input ports and determine, in response to the detection of the streams of media samples, a capture start time. The processor can also capture a first frame of a first stream of media samples beginning at the capture start time, and a first frame of a second stream of media samples beginning at a first time subsequent to the capture start time. The processor can also calculate a relative offset time based on the capture start time, the first time, and a rate associated with the second stream of media samples, and store, in the memory, an indication of an association between the captured first frame of the second stream of media samples and the relative offset time.

It is possible for the viewer to readily and accurately reach a desired image/audio reproduction start position in reproduction.

A time code is added to moving image data obtained by imaging a state in which a person who writes a description is explaining while writing a description in a description portion and audio data corresponding to the moving image data to record the data in a recording unit. The moving image data is processed to determine a written portion written in the description portion, and index image data is generated to display each portion determined as the written portion as an index description, and the index image data is recorded in the recording portion. To the index image data, a value of the time code corresponding to description time is added as a timestamp, in association with each pixel constituting the index description.

TIMECODE GENERATION AND ASSIGNMENT

A timecoding technique for determining and assigning timecodes for variable frame rate video. Content identified for timecode assignment is decoded, and for sequential frames of the content, portions of timestamps are compared to determine if the frames are from a same time period (e.g., from the same second in time). For a subsequent frame from the same time period, an index is atomically incremented, a timecode generated from a combination of the time period and the index, and the timecode assigned to the frame. For a subsequent frame from a different time period, the index is initialized, a timecode generated from a combination of the different time period and the initialized index, and the timecode assigned to the frame. Accumulated durations of frames may be used in place of timestamps, in some instances.
