A plug connector, in particular an optical plug connector, has a plug unit comprising at least one plug element which has at least one locking element, and with an actuation unit comprising at least one actuation element which is translationally displaceable with respect to the plug unit for the purpose of actuating the locking element.

Optical-electrical connector

The present invention provides an optical-electrical connector for inserting into an optical adapter, comprising an optical connector module, an electrical connector module, a base, and a sliding cover. The electrical connector module is slidably coupled to the optical connector module and is locked when inserting into the optical adapter. The base comprises a through hole and the electrical connector module is slidable connected to the through hole. The sliding cover is slidably coupled to the base, wherein after the electrical connector module is released from the optical adapter by sliding the sliding cover, the optical connector module is released from the optical adapter.

OPTICAL FIBER CONNECTOR WITH CHANGEABLE POLARITY

A multi-fiber, fiber optic connector may include a reversible keying arrangement for determining the orientation for plugging the connector into an adapter to thereby allow for a change in polarity of the connection to be made on site. The connector housing may be configured to engage with a removable key that may be engaged with the housing in at least two different locations to provide the plug-in orientation, or the housing may have slidably displaceable keys movable between multiple positions on the housing.

Optical fiber connector, optical fiber adaptor and optical fiber connector assembly

Embodiments of the present invention provide an optical fiber connector assembly, an optical fiber adapter, and an optical fiber connector to solve the problem of inconvenience in use caused by using a thread-locking manner in the prior art. The optical fiber connector, optical fiber adapter and optical fiber connector assembly provided in the present invention may be used as an outdoor connector to achieve plug and play. The optical fiber connector supports blind-mate, and the operation is convenient. Time taken to install and disassemble the optical fiber connector provided in the present invention is only ⅕ of the time taken to install and disassemble a common thread connector.

An optoelectronic module includes a housing enclosing at least one optical transmitter or receiver and includes a release mechanism configured to engage with a cage sized and shaped to receive the housing. A cable connector for a fiber optic cable is configured to engage in a port of the module, and a slideable collar on the cable connector can keep the module engaged in the port. For example, the collar can hold tabs or arms inside the port engaged with slots or indents on a body of the connector to prevent the connector from being pulled from the port. A retainer is configured to prevent retraction of a collar on the cable connector so that the connector is not inadvertently removed from the port. By keeping the connector engaged, the retainer may by extension keep the module engaged in the cage by preventing inadvertent release of the release mechanism on the module.
