A display device includes: a substrate including a display area and a non-display area; a circuit portion including a first circuit portion and a second circuit portion on the non-display area; a valley portion separating the first circuit portion and the second circuit portion from each other; and a thin film encapsulation layer sealing the display area, the thin film encapsulation layer extending from the display area to the valley portion, and the first circuit portion is between the valley portion and the display area, the second circuit portion is at an outside of the valley portion, an internal layer on the first circuit portion includes a plurality of island portions that are apart from one another in a first direction and a second direction crossing the first direction, and an external layer on the second circuit portion includes at least one groove extending in the first direction.

A display device is provided. The display device includes a display panel and a visible angle adjustment panel. The visible angle adjustment panel has a liquid-crystal layer. The liquid-crystal layer has a plurality of cell gaps, wherein the thicknesses of the cell gaps are different from each other, and the thicknesses of the cell gaps gradually increase along a direction.

The present disclosure provides a color filter substrate, including: a base substrate, and a light-shielding pattern on the base substrate and having a plurality of openings to define a plurality of pixel regions, wherein each of the plurality of pixel regions at least includes a color filtering region, and a color filtering layer is filled in each color filtering region, and at least one of the plurality of pixel regions further includes at least one transparent region, each of which is filled with a transparent non-filtering layer. The present disclosure further provides a reflective display panel and a manufacturing method for a color filter substrate.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A light shielding layer overlapping with a peripheral region of a display device includes extension portions each extending along a Y direction, bent portions located between the extension portions, and another extension portion located between the bent portions. In a region overlapping with the another extension portion, an enable line (first potential supply line), which supplies a potential to a plurality of scanning signal lines via a driving circuit (first driving circuit), goes through a wiring layer (first wiring layer) and another wiring layer (second wiring layer) made of a material having resistivity lower than that of the wiring layer.

According to one embodiment, an electronic device includes a first camera, a first polarizer, a second polarizer, and a liquid crystal panel disposed between the first polarizer and the second polarizer. The liquid crystal panel includes a first scanning line, a first signal line intersecting the first scanning line, a first switching element electrically connected to the first scanning line and the first signal line, and a first control electrode electrically connected to the first switching element. The first control electrode overlaps the first camera, and is disposed in an annular first region.

A display device includes a liquid crystal display including a first liquid crystal display panel that displays a character or an image; a decorative member; and a controller that controls the display of the liquid crystal display. The decorative member is disposed on a display surface side of the liquid crystal display, and includes a display region in which the display of the liquid crystal display is transparently displayed, and a non-display region adjacent to the display region. The controller controls a luminance through the decorative member of a black display of the liquid crystal display to a luminance invisible to a user, and controls the luminance through the decorative member of a low-gradation region, except for the black display, of the liquid crystal display to a luminance visible to the user.
SUBSTRATE WITH LIGHT-SHIELDING FILM, MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SUBSTRATE, AND DISPLAY DEVICE HAVING THE SUBSTRATE
Disclosed is a black-matrix substrate including a substrate, a light-shielding film located over the substrate and having a plurality of openings, and a plurality of color filters arranged in the plurality of openings. The light-shielding film includes a base film over the substrate, a metal film over the base film, and a low-reflectance film located between the base film and the metal film and has an optical reflectance lower than that of the metal film. The base film may include at least one of a resin and an inorganic compound.
DISPLAY DEVICE
In a plan view, a spacer member is arranged at a position overlapping with a first line portion of a second pixel electrode. The second pixel electrode has a second connecting portion that connects the first line portion and the second line portion arranged next to the first line portion. The second connecting portion of the pixel electrode is arranged between a region where the first line portion of the second pixel electrode overlaps with the spacer member and one end portion of the first line portion of the second pixel electrode.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device has a plurality of color filters and a first light-shielding film formed in a matrix so as to partition a pixel. The plurality of color filters includes: a first color filter selectively transmitting blue light; a second color filter selectively transmitting green light; and a third color filter selectively transmitting red light. The first color filter has a plurality of island-shaped patterns arranged apart from each other along a Y direction intersecting with an X direction. In a plan view, an optical sensor is arranged at a position overlapping with a region between the plurality of island-shaped patterns adjacent to each other. The region has a first opening that is covered with the first light-shielding film and is formed at a position overlapping with optical sensor, the first opening passing through the first light-shielding film.
