SPUTTERING TARGET AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A novel metal oxide or a novel sputtering target is provided. A sputtering target includes a conductive material and an insulating material. The insulating material includes an oxide, a nitride, or an oxynitride including an element M1. The element M1 is one or more kinds of elements selected from Al, Ga, Si, Mg, Zr, Be, and B. The conductive material includes an oxide, a nitride, or an oxynitride including indium and zinc. A metal oxide film is deposited using the sputtering target in which the conductive material and the insulating material are separated from each other.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device includes: a first substrate and a second substrate disposed facing each other; a gate line and a first data line disposed on the first substrate; a thin film transistor connected to the gate line and the first data line; a pixel electrode connected to the thin film transistor; and a color filter disposed on at least one of the first substrate and the second substrate, the color filter overlapping the pixel electrode. The color filter has a width greater than a distance between the the first data line and a second data line disposed adjacent to the first data line.
Display device
A display device including a light source member including a plurality of light emitting units emitting a first color light, an optical member disposed on an upper side of the light source member, and a liquid crystal display panel disposed on an upper side of the optical member. The optical member includes a base substrate, a color conversion layer disposed on the base substrate and including a quantum dot for converting the first color light into a second color light and a third color light, a filter layer disposed between the base substrate and the color conversion layer and transmitting the first color light and reflecting the second color light and the third color light, and an optical path changing layer disposed on at least one of an upper surface and a lower surface of the filter layer.
Light source module and display device
A light source module and a display device are provided. The light source module includes a light-emitting element, a light-guiding plate, and a filter. The light-emitting element includes a light-emitting surface. The light-guiding plate includes a light-incident surface, and the light guide plate is disposed such that the light-incident surface faces the light-emitting surface. The filter is disposed between the light-emitting surface and the light-incident surface, and a center wavelength of a reflection band of the filter falls in a range of 570 nm to 590 nm. The light-emitting element emits a first light having a first color temperature from the light-emitting surface. The first light is filtered into the second light having a second color temperature after it passes through the filter. The light-incident surface of the light-guiding plate receives the second light. The first color temperature is lower than the second color temperature.
Composition, quantum dot-polymer composite, and display device including same
A composition including a quantum dot, a dispersing agent for dispersing the quantum dot, a polymerizable monomer including a carbon-carbon double bond, an initiator, a hollow metal oxide particulate, and a solvent, and a quantum dot-polymer composite manufactured from the composition.
LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE, SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE, AND ELECTRONIC APPLIANCE
The liquid crystal display device includes an island-shaped first semiconductor film 102 which is formed over a base insulating film 101 and in which a source 102d, a channel forming region 102a, and a drain 102b are formed; a first electrode 102c which is formed of a material same as the first semiconductor film 102 to be the source 102d or the drain 102b and formed over the base insulating film 101; a second electrode 108 which is formed over the first electrode 102c and includes a first opening pattern 112; and a liquid crystal 110 which is provided over the second electrode 108.
METHODS OF CONTROLLING MULTI-ZONE TINTABLE WINDOWS
Window controllers and methods for controlling tinting and other functions of tinting zones of multi-zone tintable windows and multiple tinting zones of a group of tintable windows.
MASK, DISPLAY PANEL, AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT
A mask, a display panel, and an electronic equipment are provided. The mask allows an opening pattern to be moved to a side of a repeat region. Based on this structure, the display panels with the same resolution and different sizes may use the masks with the same size, and differences between these masks are merely different distances between the opening patterns and edges of the repeat regions, thus solving at least one technical problem existing in conventional 8K electronic equipment that the masks with the different sizes require to be manufactured for the display panels with the different sizes.
DISPLAY DEVICE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
Provided is a display device. The display device includes an upper substrate; and a lower substrate disposed on a lower portion of the upper substrate and including an outer region extending outward from the upper substrate at one side, wherein each of the upper substrate and the lower substrate includes a protruding region extending along an edge of each of the upper substrate and the lower substrate, and a recessed region surrounded by the protruding region in a plan view and having a thickness smaller than that of the protruding region, wherein the protruding region includes a first protruding region that is adjacent to the outer region and extends in a first direction, a second protruding region that extends in the first direction and is positioned opposite to the first protruding region, a third protruding region that extends in a second direction intersecting the first direction and connects the first protruding region and the second protruding region, and a fourth protruding region that extends in the second direction and is positioned opposite to the third protruding region, wherein the first protruding region includes a 1-1 protruding region, and the 1-1 protruding region includes a 1-1-1 protruding region and a 1-1-2 protruding region disposed between the 1-1-1 protruding region and the recessed region and having a thickness between a thickness of the 1-1-1 protruding region and the thickness of the recessed region.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A MULTI-PRIMARY WIDE GAMUT COLOR SYSTEM
Systems and methods for a multi-primary color system for display. A multi-primary color system increases the number of primary colors available in a color system and color system equipment. Increasing the number of primary colors reduces metameric errors from viewer to viewer. One embodiment of the multi-primary color system includes Red, Green, Blue, Cyan, Yellow, and Magenta primaries. The systems of the present invention maintain compatibility with existing color systems and equipment and provide systems for backwards compatibility with older color systems.
