A display device includes a first substrate including a first surface and a second surface, a second substrate disposed on the second surface of the first substrate, a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, a color conversion layer disposed on the second substrate, and a third substrate disposed on the color conversion layer. The second surface of the first substrate is opposite the first surface of first substrate. The color conversion layer includes a magnetic anisotropy barrier wall.

Provided is a liquid crystal display panel, comprising an array substrate, a color filter substrate, and a liquid crystal layer disposed therebetween, wherein a photoelectric functional layer, which is arranged on a surface of the color filter substrate facing the liquid crystal layer or on a surface of the color filter substrate away from the liquid crystal layer, can influence polarization states of optical waves, and meanwhile generate electrical shielding effects. As such, the photoelectric functional layer, which has two functions, can serve as either a polarizer or an electrical shielding layer, thus simplifying a manufacturing procedure of the entire liquid crystal display panel.

A non-black dead front display assembly includes a display frame, a backlight system supported by the frame, the backlight system configured to generate backlight rays, a light mask disposed on the backlight system, a light mask disposed on the backlight system, the light mask configured to transmit or to block the backlight rays in response to a control signal, and a film positioned over the light mask, the film configured to reflect ambient light rays and to scatter the backlight rays transmitted through the light mask, the scattered backlight rays causing a first portion of the film to glow while a second portion of the film appears non-glowing.

The second polarizer may overlap the first polarizer. The liquid crystal layer may be positioned between the first polarizer and the second polarizer. The light unit may overlap the liquid crystal layer and may provide first light. The first polarizer may be positioned between the light unit and the liquid crystal layer. The color filter layer may overlap the liquid crystal layer. The second polarizer may be positioned between the color filter layer and the liquid crystal layer. The particle set may include a plurality of particles, may overlap the liquid crystal layer, and may scatter the first light. The second polarizer may be positioned between the particle set and the liquid crystal layer.
Polarizing Plate for Display Device and Display Device Comprising the Same
A polarizing plate and a display device including the same is disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a polarizing plate includes a polarizer which allows only light polarized in a specific direction to pass through; and a haze adhesive film disposed on a one surface of the polarizer and having a haze of 49% to 65%, wherein the haze adhesive film is configured to adhere to the display device, and reduce moire occurring in the dual cell structure of the display device.

DISPLAY DEVICE HAVING IMPROVED LIGHT EMISSION AND COLOR REPRODUCIBILITY
An exemplary display device includes: a display panel; a color conversion panel overlapping the display panel; and an optical bonding layer positioned between the display panel and the color conversion panel. The color conversion panel includes: a substrate; a color conversion layer and a transmission layer positioned between the substrate and the display panel; a first capping layer having one side facing the color conversion layer and the transmission layer, and another side facing the display panel; a second capping layer positioned between the first capping layer and the display panel; and an optical layer positioned between the first capping layer and the second capping layer and/or between the second capping layer and the optical bonding layer. A refractive index of the optical layer is lower than at least one of a refractive index of the first capping layer and a refractive index of the second capping layer.

An in-cell type liquid crystal panel is disclosed including an in-cell type liquid crystal cell provided with a liquid crystal layer, a first transparent substrate and a second transparent substrate sandwiching the liquid crystal layer, and a touch sensing electrode unit related to a touch sensor and a touch-driven function between the first transparent substrate and the second transparent substrate and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer attached polarizing film disposed, via a first adhesive layer and without interposing a conductive layer, to the first transparent substrate side on a viewing side of the in-cell type liquid crystal cell. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer attached polarizing film comprises a surface treatment layer, a first polarizing film, and a first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer in this order, or comprises the surface treatment layer, the first polarizing film, an anchor layer, and the first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer in this order.

Provided are a set of polarizing plates comprising a front-plate-integrated polarizing plate to be disposed at a viewing side of a liquid crystal cell and a back-side polarizing plate to be disposed at a back side of the cell, and a front-plate-integrated liquid crystal display panel including the set of polarizing plates. The front-plate-integrated polarizing plate including a front-side polarizing plate and a front plate disposed at a viewing side of the front-side polarizing plate, being stuck via an ultraviolet curing type resin or a pressure sensitive adhesive, and having a Young's modulus of at least 2 GPa. A distance d1 to the liquid crystal cell from the surface of a polarizer of the front-side polarizing plate is larger than a distance d2 to the liquid crystal cell from the surface of a polarizer of the back-side polarizing plate.
