The thin film transistor layer includes a plurality of data lines. The pixel electrode includes a first trunk electrode and a second trunk electrode. Portions of the data line corresponding to the first trunk electrode and the second trunk electrode overlap or partially overlap with the first trunk electrode and the second trunk electrode.

A pixel structure includes a data line, a scan line, a common signal line, a first switching element, a second switching element, a first pixel electrode, and a second pixel electrode. The first switching element is electrically connected to the scan line and the data line. The second switching element is electrically connected to the scan line and the common signal line. The first pixel electrode is electrically connected to the first switching element. The second pixel electrode is electrically connected to the second switching element. The second pixel electrode surrounds the first pixel electrode.

The display panel includes an array substrate, a color filter substrate, and a liquid crystal layer. A pixel electrode layer is provided on a side of the array substrate, and the pixel electrode layer includes a plurality of slits. The color filter substrate and the array substrate are provided with pixel electrode layers on sides opposite to each other, and the color filter substrate is provided with a common electrode layer on a side facing the array substrate. The liquid crystal layer is provided between the array substrate and the color filter substrate, and the liquid crystal layer includes liquid crystals and a chiral agent.
