An array substrate includes: a base substrate; one or more first signal lines provided on the base substrate; a plurality of repair line sets also provided on the base substrate and configured to repair the first signal lines, each of the repair line sets comprising one or more repair lines which intersect with and are insulated from at least one of the first signal lines; and one or more second signal lines also provided on the base substrate, at least one of the one or more second signal lines having one end which is arranged to intersect with and be insulated from the one or more repair lines, and the other end which is connected to a driving circuit for supplying an electrical signal to the one or more first signal lines. The second signal line is different from the first signal line.

Method for repairing broken line

A liquid crystal display (LCD), an array substrate of the LCD and a method for repairing a broken line are disclosed. According to the present invention, a detection line and a repairing line are disposed on an array substrate of the LCD, the detection line is connected to a non-defective scan line and the repairing line is connected to a broken line; and when a scan signal is detected by the repairing IC via the detection line, a repairing signal is outputted at an appropriate time to repair the broken line via the repairing line. With this arrangement of the LCD and the method for repairing a broken line of the present invention, broken scan lines that are detected in the LCD after the cell process can still be repaired. This reduces the reject ratio, avoids unnecessary waste and lowers the manufacturing cost.

An array substrate having a display area, a peripheral area, and a bonding area inside the peripheral area is provided. The array substrate includes a bonding pad in the bonding area, the bonding pad configured to be connected to a peripheral circuit through a bonding connector, a test signal line including a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is in the peripheral area and substantially surrounds the display area. The first portion is electrically connected to the bonding pad. The first portion is completely inside the array substrate and has no exposed terminal. The second portion is in the bonding area. A first terminal of the second portion is electrically connected to the bonding pad. A second terminal of the second portion has an end along an edge of the array substrate in the bonding area.

A display device, comprising: a first pixel row including a first pixel electrode and a second pixel electrode that are arranged in a first direction; a second pixel row; a third pixel row; a first source line and a second source line that extend in a second direction between the first pixel electrode and the second pixel electrode; a first gate line that extends in the first direction between the first pixel row and the second pixel row; a second gate line that extends in the first direction between the second pixel row and the third pixel row; a first end connection wiring that connects the first gate line to the second gate line at an end portion of the second pixel row; and one or more first cross connection wirings that transverse the second pixel row and connect the first gate line to the second gate line.

The transfer lines are arranged in a first direction. Gate lines of the pixel structures are arranged in a second direction. The first direction and the second direction are interlaced. The transfer lines are electrically connected to the gate lines. The pixel structures include a first pixel structure. The transfer lines include a first transfer line. The first transfer line overlaps a boundary between the alignment domains of the first pixel structure.
