A display device includes a pixel electrode, signal lines, lines, and inter-line connections. The signal lines supply an image signal to the pixel electrode. The lines are arranged such that the lines at least partly overlap the signal lines, respectively, via an insulating film but do not overlap the pixel electrode. The inter-line connections interconnect the lines. The inter-line connections are arranged at intervals in a direction of extension of the lines.

The display panel formed with an active area and a peripheral area includes: a first substrate; and a second substrate cell-assembled with the first substrate; the peripheral area includes a fan-out area; the fan-out area is located between an edge of the second substrate and an edge of the active area; the first substrate is provided with fan-out wirings for connecting the active area and the peripheral area in the fan-out area, and the number of the fan-out wirings is multiple; the first substrate is further provided with a plurality of auxiliary lines, and the auxiliary lines are arranged in one-to-one correspondence with the fan-out wirings; and at least one of the auxiliary lines is disconnected from one end of the corresponding fan-out wiring.
Liquid crystal display device having improved electrostatic discharge tolerance
A liquid crystal display (LCD) device is improved in terms of electrostatic discharge (ESD) tolerance, the LCD device including: a first substrate and a second substrate spaced apart from each other; a liquid crystal layer between the first substrate and the second substrate; a common line on the first substrate; a common electrode on the second substrate; and a plurality of short-circuit portions between the common line and the common electrode. Each of the plurality of short-circuit portions includes a contact surface contacting the common line, and at least two of the short-circuit portions respectively include contact surfaces having different sizes.

The display device includes a first conductor; a first insulating layer covering the first conductor; and a first semiconductor layer and a second conductor, both disposed on the first insulating layer, wherein the first conductor includes a gate line, a gate electrode connected to the gate line, and a storage line separated from the gate line, wherein the first semiconductor layer includes a channel region overlapping the gate electrode and a first antireflective pattern overlapping the storage line, and wherein the second conductor includes a data line, a source electrode at least partially disposed on the channel region and connected to the data line, and a drain electrode at least partially disposed on the channel region and separated from the source electrode.

Disclosed is a display panel, comprising a signal line, a test line for testing a signal line of the signal line, and a dummy line. The dummy line extends in a direction substantially consistent with that of the test line for preventing occurrence of electrostatic discharge on the test line. The test line and the dummy line have an overlapping region with the signal line, respectively, and the ratio of the area of the overlapping region between the dummy line and the signal line to the area of the dummy line is smaller than the ratio of the area of the overlapping region between the test line and the signal line to the area of the test line. A display device comprising the display panel is further disclosed.
Display device
A display device includes a pixel electrode, a signal line, a pixel electrode, and a blocking portion. The signal line is configured to transmit a signal to the pixel electrode. The pixel electrode connecting line is disposed a predefined distance apart from the signal line and connected to the pixel electrode. The blocking portion is disposed between a connecting portion of the pixel electrode connected to the pixel electrode connecting line and the signal line to block an electric field between the connection portion and the signal line.

A liquid crystal panel includes a first substrate and a second substrate. The first substrate includes a plurality of first wires, a second wire that intersects with the plurality of first wires, and a third wire that is arranged in a layer different from a layer in which the second wire is arranged and that is arranged in parallel to the second wire. An aperture is formed in at least any of all intersection portions in which the plurality of first wires and the second wire intersect. The second wire and the third wire are connected through a contact hole that is formed in the aperture.
