The cartridge interface has a dispense mechanism opened to the cartridge body and a coupling mechanism coupled with the dispense mechanism. The coupling mechanism includes at least one coupling extension and at least one shuttle configured for movable coupling with the dispense mechanism.
Developer supply container and electrophotography imaging apparatus
A developer supply container and an electrophotography imaging apparatus using the developer supply container, relating to the field of electronic imaging apparatuses. The developer supply container comprising an accommodating cylinder and a feeding member is provided in the accommodating cylinder, wherein an outer surface of the accommodating cylinder is provided with a driving receiving portion. The developer supply container is further provided with a housing located at an end of the accommodating cylinder, the housing is provided with a powder outlet. A first storage portion is provided at an end of the feeding member close to the housing, a second storage portion in communication with the first storage portion is provided in the housing, the second storage portion is in communication with the powder outlet, and the second storage portion is provided with a stirring device therein.
INFORMATION STORAGE SYSTEM INCLUDING A PLURALITY OF TERMINALS
A toner container includes a container body, an opening, a cover, a toner discharge port, a shutter, a cylindrical structure, protrusions, and an identifier. The shutter is attached to the cover and includes a main shutter covering the toner discharge port. The main shutter moves between a closed position to close the toner discharge port and an open position to open the toner discharge port. The protrusions are on both sides of the cover and protrude in a direction orthogonal to a toner container mounting direction. The identifier is on the cover to indicate a toner color. The cylindrical structure's leading end is downstream of leading ends of the protrusions in the mounting direction. The main shutter's leading end is downstream of the protrusions' leading ends in the mounting direction when the main shutter is in the closed position. The protrusions are downstream of the identifier in the mounting direction.
PRINTER DEVICE, PRINTING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
There are provided a printer device, a printing method, and a program that can appropriately output an exposure start signal without requiring a film detection device. A printer device includes a loading chamber into which a film cartridge is to be loaded, an exposure head device that is disposed to face a photosensitive surface of a film discharged from the film cartridge and exposes the film to light, a spreading roller that splits a developer pod of the film to spread a developer to the film, a transport roller that transports the film, and a load measuring device that measures a change in load occurring in a case where the film enters at least the spreading roller or the transport roller.
Toner cartridge, developing unit, process cartridge, and image forming apparatus
In a toner cartridge configured such that, by rotating a toner housing portion relative to a shutter in a state in which a first portion-to-be-engaged is engaged to a first engaging portion of a developing unit, relative positions of a cover and the shutter are displaced from first relative position, in which a closing portion opposes a second opening, to second relative position, in which the interior of the toner housing portion communicates with the developing unit through a first opening and the second opening, and a second portion-to-be-engaged is engaged to a second engaging portion of the developing unit, thereby being attached to the developing unit, a biasing member is provided in order to exert a biasing force for generating relative rotation between the cover and the shutter in a direction for displacing the relative positions thereof from the second relative position to the first relative position.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes a developing device; a developer supply container including an accommodating portion for accommodating a developer, a projected portion projected from the accommodating portion, and a discharge opening for discharging the developer; and a developer supplying device for storing the developer to be supplied to the developing device. The developer supply container is mounted to the developer supplying device. The developer supplying device includes i) a storage portion configured to store the developer, ii) an opening configured to insert the projected portion into the storage portion, iii) an abutting portion abutting to the developer supply container to set the projected portion at a predetermined position relative to the storage portion, iv) a shield portion at least a part of which is vertically below the projected portion of the developer supply container.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS FOR FORMING IMAGE USING DEVELOPER, METHOD FOR REGULATING ATTACHMENT/DETACHMENT OF DEVELOPER STORAGE PORTION
An image forming apparatus includes a lock mechanism, a first determination processing portion, and a regulation processing portion. The lock mechanism is configured to regulate attachment and detachment of the developer storage portion attached to the attachment portion. The first determination processing portion determines whether or not the developer storage portion attached to the attachment portion is a developer storage portion of a predetermined specific type. The regulation processing portion, when the developer storage portion attached to the attachment portion has been determined to be a developer storage portion of the specific type, causes the lock mechanism to regulate attachment and detachment of the developer storage portion.
DEVELOPING DEVICE, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A developing device develops, with developer, an electrostatic latent image formed on an image carrying member, and includes a developing tank, a developer carrying member, and a drive input portion. The developing tank stores the developer and has a receiving port and a discharge port through which the developer is received and discharged respectively. The developer carrying member rotates in the developing tank while carrying the developer. The drive input portion receives a rotational force from outside the developing device and transmit the rotational force to a driven rotation shaft that is a rotation shaft of the developer carrying member. The receiving port, the discharge port, and the drive input portion are provided in the developing tank to be close to an end of the developing tank in a longitudinal direction of the developing tank.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, LOCK DEVICE, LOCK UNIT
A biasing portion biases a restricting portion in a direction opposite to a direction in which a drive source drives the restricting portion. Each of a lock cover and the restricting portion includes an engaging portion that has a contact surface, and when the lock cover is closed, the contact surfaces of the lock cover and the restricting portion are engaged with each other while facing each other. The contact surfaces of the lock cover and the restricting portion are not parallel to each other in a state where the lock cover is closed, and as the lock cover is displaced in an opening direction of the lock cover when the drive source is not driving the restricting portion, one or both of the engaging portions are bent and the contact surfaces become parallel to each other.
