Assembly for manufacturing a cartridge for regulating the mixture of cold and hot fluids
10671101 · 2020-06-02 · ·

An assembly for manufacturing a cartridge for regulating cold and hot fluids to be mixed, includes a pre-assembled base module, with a base, which encloses a mixing chamber with first and second inlets, for a cold fluid and for a hot fluid, respectively, and an outlet for a mixture of the cold and hot fluids, a slide, which is movable in the chamber so as to inversely vary a flow of the hot and cold fluids, and a thermostatic actuator arranged in the chamber, which moves the slide to a position corresponding to a pre-set temperature for the mixture. The assembly has at least two specific modules from among a single-control module, a sequential module and a dual-control module, each module being pre-assembled and including a housing suitable for being attached to the base, and an adjustment member movably mounted in the housing.

A cartridge has first and second separate base portions axially vertically adjacent in a stationary manner relative to one another. The first and second base portions have first and second opposing axial surfaces, such that the second surface of the first base portion and the first surface of the second base portion are applied axially against one another and include respective portions in axial contact with one another, which form a sealed joining interface between the first and second base portions. The cartridge also has a thermostat, as well as a slide valve connected to the body of the thermostat for controlling the temperature of the mixture of fluids, which moves along the axis of the base inside the first base portion to vary inversely the respective flow sections of a first passage for the first fluid and of a second passage for the second fluid.

METERED DISPENSE INPUT DEVICE

The present disclosure relates to a metered dispense input device that wirelessly communicates with a wireless control module of an electronic faucet to allow wireless control of the faucet such that selected volumes of water can be dispensed. The present disclosure further relates to a metered dispense input device that is integrated into an electronic faucet to allow the dispensing of selected volumes of water.

Thermostatic valve

A thermostatic valve is provided. The thermostatic valve includes a first seat, a second seat spaced axially apart from the first seat, and a shuttle. The shuttle is located between the first seat and the second seat, has a first side and a second side axially opposite the first side, and is movable between a first position in which the first side of the shuttle seals against the first seat and a second position in which the second side of the shuttle seals against the second seat. At least one of the first seat, the second seat, and the shuttle includes an overmolded portion for sealing between the shuttle and at least one of the first seat and the second seat.

Faucet cartridge

The faucet of cartridge has an expandable temperature regulating rod in the main body. The temperature of water is regulated by changing the ratio of cold water and hot water by the movement of the temperature regulating rod. The water can be switched on or off by rotating the main body with respect to the seat. The main body includes an outer body, an inner body, and an anti-leaking element. The anti-leaking element is sandwiched between the outer body and the inner body to partition the space therebetween into two channels for cold and hot water to flow into the inner body.

Electronic user interface for electronic mixing of water for residential faucets

A water delivery system is disclosed. The water delivery system may have an electronic user interface. The electronic user interface may be a portable device. The electronic user interface may include inputs to select water temperature, water flow rates, water flow patterns, and/or task based presets. A mixing valve for use with either manual faucets or electronic faucets is disclosed.

Metered dispense pot filler

A pot filler including a metered dispense input device for dispensing of predetermined volumes of water. The pot filler illustratively includes an electrically operable valve operably coupled to a metered dispense input unit, and a control module configured to control operation of the electrically operable valve.

Thermostatic shower valve

Embodiments include thermostatic valves for showers and tubs in which the temperature is regulated by a thermostatic motor/element. Both the flow from the valve and the temperature are controlled by a rotary stem. Hot and cold water is pre-mixed by passage through the coils of a return spring into a mixing chamber and a ceramic valve at the top of the mixing chamber controls flow of mixed water from the mixing chamber into an outlet chamber where fluctuations in the water temperature are eliminated before the water is conveyed to the shower or tub.
