FAUCET ASSEMBLY WITH INTEGRATED ANTI-SCALD DEVICE
Improved fluid supply assemblies for fluid systems are provided. In exemplary embodiments, the present disclosure provides for improved fluid supply assemblies and related features, systems and methods of use. More particularly, the present disclosure provides for advantageous faucet assemblies (e.g., electrically or mechanically actuated faucet assemblies) having an integrated anti-scald device and having an integrated temperature mixing valve. The present disclosure provides for a faucet assembly having an integrated temperature mixing valve, and/or having an integrated anti-scald device configured to stop the inlet flow of hot water in the event the mixed outlet water temperature exceeds a user-selected set point. Advantageous faucet assemblies of the present disclosure can prevent scalding as defined by ASSE 1070. Improved, convenient and effective systems and methods for utilizing improved faucet assemblies in fluid systems are provided.
Mixing unit and mixer tap comprising such a mixing unit
The mixing unit for a mixer tap has a generally cylindrical shape defining a main axis and comprising a first intake of a first incoming stream of fluid having a first temperature, a second intake of a second incoming stream of fluid having a second temperature greater than the first temperature, an outlet for an outgoing stream, means for mixing the first and second incoming streams to form the outgoing stream, and thermostatic means which comprise a portion that is mobile in translation along a shutter axis. According to the invention, a plane that is orthogonal to the main axis and the shutter axis intersect, wherein the shutter axis is inclined with respect to this orthogonal plane, and passes through it so that the mixing unit, while being easy to manufacture, has sufficient compactness to accommodate most existing mixer taps.
Mixing valve assembly, tap and plant provided with said valve assembly
Thermostatic mixing cartridge (3) for sanitary taps (1) comprising A) a manual control member (9) arranged to perform a control stroke with a single degree of freedom; B) a thermostatic element assembly (15) arranged to actuate the thermostatic valve (19) expanding or contracting according to the temperature of the liquid that laps around a thermostatic bulb (17) into the mixing chamber (25); C) an adjustment shaft (37) actuated by the manual control member (9) and arranged to C.1) to rotate the inlet shutter (11) so as to open the first (27) and the second inlet mouth (29); and C.2) to move the thermostatic element assembly (15) at least according to the predetermined adjustment direction (AR) so as to adjust the predetermined reference temperature. The cartridge lends itself to be realized with very small dimensions, forcing a user to open the tap supplied with cold water only, with energy savings.
MIXING UNIT, RELATED MIXER TAP, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SUCH A MIXER TAP
A mixing unit with a mixer tap for mixing two fluids and a method for manufacturing the mixer tap for mixing fluids are disclosed. The mixing unit has a cartridge, which is provided with a coupling base having an inlet for a first inflow, an inlet for a second inflow, and an outlet for an outflow obtained by mixing the inflows. The mixing unit also has a housing designed to be placed in a coupled position with the coupling base. The housing is designed to change the rate of the first inflow and/or second inflow on the basis of the temperature of the outflow. The mixing unit also includes an attachment for attaching additional housing to the coupling base. The attachment allows for movement of the additional housing, in relation to the cartridge, between the coupled position and a separated position.
ASSEMBLY FOR MANUFACTURING A CARTRIDGE FOR REGULATING THE MIXTURE OF COLD AND HOT FLUIDS
An assembly for manufacturing a cartridge for regulating cold and hot fluids to be mixed, includes a pre-assembled base module, with a base, which encloses a mixing chamber with first and second inlets, for a cold fluid and for a hot fluid, respectively, and an outlet for a mixture of the cold and hot fluids, a slide, which is movable in the chamber so as to inversely vary a flow of the hot and cold fluids, and a thermostatic actuator arranged in the chamber, which moves the slide to a position corresponding to a pre-set temperature for the mixture. The assembly has at least two specific modules from among a single-control module, a sequential module and a dual-control module, each module being pre-assembled and including a housing suitable for being attached to the base, and an adjustment member movably mounted in the housing.
Hot and cold water mixing device
An object of the invention is to provide a hot and cold water mixing device for reducing degradation in the measurement accuracy of a flowmeter. In the device according to the invention, the flowmeter is disposed in one of a hot water supply path and a cold water supply path, having a higher flow rate. At least first and second temperature sensors are individually disposed in at least two of the hot and cold water supply paths and a mixed water path. A hot and cold water adjustment unit adjusts a mixing volume of hot water and cold water based on measurement values of the flowmeter disposed in one of the flow paths having a higher flow rate, a mixed water path flowmeter and at least the first and second temperature sensors.
Fluid control valves
A fluid control valve for mixing hot and cold water has an inlet for cold water, an inlet for hot water and at least two outlets for temperature controlled water. The valve further has a flow control device comprising a pair of control members that are relatively movable to control flow of water at the inlets and outlets of the valve for selecting flow to an individual outlet or a combination of at least two outlets.
THERMOSTATIC SINGLE-CONTROL CARTRIDGE AND MIXER TAP PROVIDED WITH SUCH A CARTRIDGE
The present invention relates to a thermostatic single-control cartridge provided with ceramic discs with a member for controlling a flow rate and a temperature of a mixed fluid by moving a thermostatic element, thus adjusting the temperature of the mixed fluid between end adjustment positions, an overtravel spring inserted between a regulating slide valve and the thermostatic element being compressed by an overtravel between the end adjustment positions. Retractable blocking means temporarily block the temperature adjustment of the mixed fluid in intermediate position of the control member between the end adjustment positions, making it possible, in said intermediate position, to cut the overtravel in half compared with the existing prior art systems.
METERED DISPENSE INPUT DEVICE
The present disclosure relates to a metered dispense input device that wirelessly communicates with a wireless control module of an electronic faucet to allow wireless control of the faucet such that selected volumes of water can be dispensed. The present disclosure further relates to a metered dispense input device that is integrated into an electronic faucet to allow the dispensing of selected volumes of water.
