Compositions for treating a sleep disorder or modifying or improving the sleep-wake cycle in a subject are disclosed herein. In some examples, the composition can comprise one or more sleep promoting active agents, one or more sleep quality active agents, one or more sleep recovery active agents, and optionally one or more next day active agents. The composition can provide an immediate burst release of the one or more sleep promoting active agents, a delayed burst or delayed sustained release of the one or more sleep quality active agents, a delayed burst or delayed sustained release of the one or more sleep recovery active agents, and a delayed burst or delayed sustained release of the one or more next day active agents. The composition can be provided as a daily oral uni-dosage form. Methods of making and using the compositions are also provided.

Pediatric nutritional composition with milk peptides for healthy growth and development
The present disclosure generally provides pediatric nutritional compositions comprising a protein source comprising an intact milk protein and a partially hydrolyzed milk protein, wherein about 5% to about 25% of total nitrogen content of the composition is non-protein nitrogen. The pediatric nutritional compositions described herein also comprise a fat source and a carbohydrate source. The partially hydrolyzed protein source, in certain embodiments, provides peptides that have similar structure and function to the peptides found in human milk.

Method for suppressing increase in heart rate during exercise, and composition for suppressing increase in heart rate
There is provided a method comprising orally administering a composition before and/or during exercise. The composition contains a casein hydrolysate containing a free amino acid and a peptide, or a mixture of the free amino acid and the peptide. The casein hydrolysate is produced by hydrolyzing an animal milk casein, and has an average chain length of 2.1 or less in terms of the number of amino acid residues. There is further provided an oral composition for use in the method. The oral composition contains, as an active ingredient, a casein hydrolysate containing a free amino acid and a peptide, or a mixture of the free amino acid and the peptide. The casein hydrolysate is produced by hydrolyzing an animal milk casein, and has an average chain length of 2.1 or less in terms of the number of amino acid residues. There is still further provided the use of the oral composition for inhibiting increase in heart rate during exercise.
