Double-sided emission type display device
A display device is provided. The display device includes: a first display panel and a second display panel; and a backlight between the first display panel and the second display panel, wherein the backlight includes at least one Printed Circuit Board (PCB), and a plurality of Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) arranged on different faces of the PCB and configured to supply light to both the first display panel and the second display panel located on different sides of the backlight.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device that is provided with a light-transmitting shutter element panel wherein shutter elements that control light transmission are arranged in a matrix and with a backlight panel that has organic electroluminescence elements and that is arranged so as to overlap the shutter element panel. The organic electroluminescence elements used in the display device are layered elements wherein light-emitting units of different colors are sandwiched between a plurality of electrodes and single-layer elements wherein a white light-emitting unit or a light-emitting unit of the complementary color of any of the different colors is sandwiched between a pair of electrodes. The layered elements and the single-layer elements are arranged so as to overlap the shutter elements in stripes that run parallel to the direction in which the shutter elements are arrayed.
DISPLAY DEVICE
Provided is a display device that can reduce electric power consumption. The display device is provided with a backlight (100) and with a field-sequential display panel (200). The backlight has light-emitting units that comprise an organic electroluminescence element in which are layered a plurality of light-emitting units that emit light of different colors. The light-emitting units that can emit white light or yellow light are provided furthest to a light-emission-surface side.

Provided is a display device that can perform stable field-sequential drive. The display device is provided with a backlight (100) and with a field-sequential display panel (200). The backlight has light-emitting units that are organic electroluminescence elements that can emit light of the three primary colors red, green, and blue. At least one electrode of the organic electroluminescence elements comprises Ag or an alloy that includes Ag as a principal component.

A backlight unit according to an embodiment of the inventive concept includes a driving substrate and a plurality of first clusters and a plurality of second clusters arranged in rows and columns on the driving substrate, wherein the first clusters and the second clusters are alternately arranged in each row on the driving substrate, wherein at least one of the first clusters and at least one of the second clusters are repeatedly disposed in each column on the driving substrate, wherein each of the first clusters and each of the second clusters includes a plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs), the first and second clusters having structures inverted to each other, wherein each of LEDs that are most adjacent to a row directional edge of the driving substrate, among the LEDs of the first and second clusters, is connected in parallel to a resistor.

A backlight module and a display device. The backlight module comprises a plurality of light strips arranged along a first direction on a same plane, where each of the light strips extends along a second direction on the plane and comprises: a printed circuit board and a plurality of light sources. The printed circuit board comprises a first mounting surface and a second mounting surface which are opposite to each other and not parallel to the plane; the plurality of light sources is electrically connected with the printed circuit board and comprises a plurality of first light sources and a plurality of second light sources, where the first light sources are disposed on the first mounting surface of the printed circuit board, and the second light sources are disposed on the second mounting surface of the printed circuit board. The backlight module has relatively high brightness.

The direct-lit backlight source includes: a light-emitting unit array; in a first direction, the light-emitting unit array includes a third region, and a first region and a second region sequentially between a first edge and the third region; in a second direction, the light-emitting unit array includes a sixth region, and a fourth region and a fifth region sequentially between a second edge to the sixth region; light-emitting units adjacent along the first direction in the first, second, third region, have a first, second, third pitch, respectively; light-emitting units adjacent along the second direction in the fourth, fifth, sixth region, have a fourth, fifth, sixth pitch, respectively; the second pitch is greater than the first pitch and the third pitch, respectively; and the fifth pitch is greater than the fourth pitch and the sixth pitch, respectively.
BACKLIGHT MODULE AND DISPLAY DEVICE
Disclosed are a backlight module and a display device. The backlight module includes a back cover including an accommodation space in which a reflector, a light component, and a diffuser plate are placed in that order, wherein the light component includes a plurality of first Light Emitting Device (LED) devices and a plurality of second LED devices, wherein the second LED devices emit light at a smaller angle than the angle at which the first LED devices emit light, the first LED devices are arranged annularly and opposite in position to the periphery of the diffuser plate, and the second LED devices are located so that they are surrounded by the first LED devices. Since the first LED devices emit light at a larger angle, more light rays thereof will be incident on the edges of the diffuser plate to thereby improve effectively the phenomenon of dark strips at the edges of a picture of the backlight module; and since the second LED devices emit light at a relatively small angle, the light rays thereof can be incident on the diffuser plate while being more concentrated to thereby improve effectively the phenomena of low brightness, shadowiness, etc., of the picture of the backlight module.
