ATTENTION TAG FOR RETAIL ARTICLE AND RETAIL ARTICLE HAVING SAME ATTACHED THERETO
An attention tag for a retail article that includes a label having an adhesive region bonded to a retail article and a protruding region that protrudes from the retail article when the label is attached thereto. Moreover, an RFID tag is disposed on the label and includes an RFIC element and an antenna pattern including first and second antenna portions that are respectively connected to first and second ends of the RFIC element. Moreover, the first antenna portion is disposed in the protruding region of the label while the second antenna portion of the RFID tag is disposed in the adhesive region of the label at a position facing a portion of the retail article.
WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICE
A compact wireless communication includes a first radiating element and a second radiating element, which define and function as a dipole antenna, a feeder circuit including a wireless IC chip coupled with the first and second radiating elements, and a feeder substrate that is provided with the wireless IC chip. The first radiating element is provided to the feeder substrate. The second radiating element is provided to a substrate other than the feeder substrate.
WIRELESS IC DEVICE
A wireless IC device includes a resin member including first and second surfaces, a substrate including first and second principal surfaces, a coil antenna provided in the resin member, and an RFIC element mounted on the substrate and connected to the coil antenna. The substrate is embedded in the resin member so that the second principal surface is at a second surface side. The coil antenna is defined by first linear conductor patterns on the second surface, first metal posts extending between the first and second surfaces, second metal posts extending between the first and second surfaces, and second linear conductor patterns on the first surface. The RFIC element is disposed in the coil antenna.
UHF RFID tag for marking underground assets and locations and method of using same
A marker for locating and identify assets which includes an ultra-high frequency (UHF) radio frequency identification (RFID) tag optimized for use below ground and able to more effectively communicate with a RFID reader through a lossy medium such as soil and air. The markers include a reflector which is sized relatively larger than the tag to help focus the forward pattern of the tag more tightly in a forward direction normal to the spiral surface. In addition, the tag includes a chip configured for the soil in which it is to be buried, and an antenna polarized to match the polarization of an RFID reader antenna that is part of a system that includes the marker and reader.
Contactless chip card with dual antenna
An insert for a chip card includes a body provided with a cavity in which is inserted an electronic module provided with a microelectronic chip connected to an inductive or capacitive coupling. The body has a stack of layers at least a first layer of which comprises a first booster antenna and a second layer of which comprises a second booster antenna, the various booster antennas being coupled together inductively and/or capacitively, and at least one of the booster antennas being coupled inductively and/or capacitively with the coupling of the module. The body furthermore comprises at least one metal plate disposed between two layers of ferrite, the first and second booster antennae and the metallic plate being arranged in such a way that at least one of the two booster antennas and the electronic module remain coupled together inductively and/or capacitively, despite the presence of the metal plate.
Antenna device and communication apparatus
An antenna device includes a power feed coil to be connected to a RFIC and a coil antenna that couples with the power feed coil. The power feed coil includes a first power feed coil and a second power feed coil connected to the first power feed coil. The second power feed coil includes a coil opening with a planar or substantially planar shape. The coil antenna includes a coil opening with a planar or substantially planar shape along a plane identical, parallel, or substantially parallel to that of the coil opening of the second power feed coil. The center of gravity of the coil antenna is located within the coil opening of the second power feed coil when viewed in plan view. A winding axis direction of the first power feed coil crosses or intersects with a winding axis direction of the coil antenna. The first power feed coil and the second power feed coil magnetically couple with the coil antenna.
Wireless communication device and article provided with communication device
A wireless communication device includes a loop antenna that wirelessly communicates with a device of another party through an occurrence of an eddy current, a parallel inductor connected in parallel to the loop antenna, and a wireless IC element that is connected to the parallel inductor and that processes a transmission/reception signal. At least the parallel inductor and the wireless IC element provide a predetermined resonant frequency.
MINIATURIZED RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION TAG
The invention provides a miniaturized radio frequency identification tag, which comprises a radio frequency identification chip and an antenna. The antenna comprises a plurality of loop antenna line segments. Each of loop antenna line segments is disposed on a corresponding insulating layer, and electrically connected to the radio frequency identification chip or the other loop antenna line segment via a corresponding conductive through hole. Accordingly, the structure of the antenna is fabricated by multi-layer loop antenna line segments so as to reduce the size of the radio frequency identification tag, effectively.
Chip card module arrangement, chip card arrangement and method for producing a chip card arrangement
A chip card module arrangement may include a first surface and a second surface, which are opposite from one another, and a chip receptacle for one or more semiconductor chips on the surfaces. The chip card module arrangement may further include a connecting material receiving area on one of the two surfaces, the connecting material receiving area only taking up a portion of the surface.
