CABLE WITH SEPARABLE ELECTRICAL CONDUCTORS
20230223169 · 2023-07-13 ·

A cable includes a first copper conductor and a second copper conductor, and an insulation layer. The insulation layer is formed from a first polymer material, and is a single layer surrounding the first copper conductor and the second copper conductor. A discontinuity formed from a second polymer material is located within the insulation layer, between the first copper conductor and the second copper conductor. The discontinuity provides a weakness within the insulation layer. A jacket surrounds the insulation layer and is made of a third polymer material. A fiber optic ribbon may be located in the cable.

Anisotropy reduction in coating of conductive films

Provided herein is a device for forming a conductive film. The device includes a deposition device and an air supply. The deposition device is configured to form a wet film having conductive nanostructures and a fluid carrier on a web. The web is moved in a first direction while forming the wet film. The air supply is disposed at a side of the web and configured to apply an air flow onto the wet film. The air flow is directed onto the wet film in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction to reorient a direction of some conductive nanostructures in the wet film to define reoriented conductive nanostructures.

Mapper component for a neuro-linguistic behavior recognition system

Techniques are disclosed for generating a sequence of symbols based on input data for a neuro-linguistic model. The model may be used by a behavior recognition system to analyze the input data. A mapper component of a neuro-linguistic module in the behavior recognition system receives one or more normalized vectors generated from the input data. The mapper component generates one or more clusters based on a statistical distribution of the normalized vectors. The mapper component evaluates statistics and identifies statistically relevant clusters. The mapper component assigns a distinct symbol to each of the identified clusters.

SUPERCONDUCTING WIRE, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SUPERCONDUCTING WIRE, AND MRI DEVICE
20230008754 · 2023-01-12 ·

A superconducting wire comprises a MgB.sub.2 filament, a base material, a high-thermal expansion metal, and a stabilizing material. The high-thermal expansion metal is a metal (for example, stainless steel) having a higher thermal expansion coefficient at room temperature than the MgB.sub.2 and the base material (for example, iron or niobium). The manufacturing method includes a step of packing a mixed powder in a first metal pipe, a step of performing wire-drawing on the first metal pipe formed of the metal to be the base material, a step of producing a composite wire by accommodating the first metal pipe in a second metal pipe formed of the high-thermal expansion metal and the stabilizing material, a step of performing wire-drawing on the composite wire, and a step of performing heat treatment.

An apparatus including a first ferrule, a second ferrule and a tracing fiber. The first ferrule may comprise a cap. The second ferrule may comprise the cap. The tracing fiber may be configured to propagate light from the first ferrule to the second ferrule. The first ferrule may enable the light to be directed into the tracing fiber when the cap is removed. The cap of the second ferrule may be configured to scatter the light to provide an omnidirectional emission of the light from the second ferrule. The tracing fiber may be bundled with one or more data carrying lines in a cable. Each of the data carrying lines may be configured to enable a communication of data. The tracing fiber may be configured to propagate the light without interrupting the communication of data.
