FLEXIBLE FLAT CABLE AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME

Provided are a flexible flat cable and a method of producing the same. The flexible flat cable includes a plate-shaped first insulation portion comprising an insulating material; a first ground, a second ground, and a third ground disposed at predetermined intervals on the first insulation portion; at least one first signal transmission line positioned between the first ground and the second ground and disposed on the first insulation portion; at least one second signal transmission line positioned between the second ground and the third ground and disposed on the first insulation portion; a first second insulation portion disposed on at least a portion of the first ground and at least a portion of the at least one first signal transmission line and the second ground; a second second insulation portion disposed on at least a portion of the second ground and at least a portion of the at least one second signal transmission line, and the third ground; a conductive adhesive layer configured to enclose the first insulation portion, the first second insulation portion, and the second second insulation portion; and a shielding portion comprising a shielding material adhered to an outside of the conductive adhesive layer. Therefore, by improving shielding efficiency of a plurality of signal transmission lines, while having good electromagnetic interference and crosstalk characteristics, a plurality of signals can be simultaneously transmitted.

Electrical ribbon cable

Ribbon cables including a plurality of spaced apart substantially parallel conductors extending along a length of the cable and arranged along a width of the cable, and first and second insulative layers disposed on opposite sides of and substantially coextensive with the plurality of conductors along the length and width of the cable are described. Each insulative layer may be adhered to the conductors and may include alternating substantially parallel thicker and thinner portions extending along the length of the cable. The thicker portions of the first and second insulative layers are substantially aligned in one to one correspondence. Each corresponding thicker portion of the first and second insulative layers have at least one conductor in the plurality of conductors disposed therebetween. The thicker portions may have an effective dielectric constant less than 2.

The invention relates to an electrically and thermally conductive element (100) comprising:—a wire or ribbon (1) of high-purity aluminium;—a strip (2) of pyrolytic graphite or of graphene extending along the aluminium ribbon (1), said wire or ribbon (1) and the strip (2) being encapsulated together in a sheath (3) of an electrically insulating material.

Thermal expansion and swell compensated jacket for ESP cable

A cable includes insulated conductors arranged in a spaced apart generally coplanar configuration. A jacket encapsulates the insulated conductors. The jacket has a generally rounded rectangular cross-section, at least one spline along a minor edge of the jacket, and at least one channel along a major edge. An armor layer is applied about the jacket.
