Cable with non-circular ground wires
A cable with a non-circular ground wire is provided, including two wires, two ground wires, and an insulating tape; wherein the inner sides of the wires are in contact with each other; the ground wires are respectively arranged on two opposite sides of the wires; each ground wire at least includes a first side surface, a second side surface, and a third side surface; the first and second side surfaces respectively contact the outer surfaces of the two wires, and the shapes of the first side surface and the second side surface respectively correspond to the shapes of the outer surfaces of the two wires; the insulating tape covers the outer surfaces of the wires and the third side surfaces of the ground wires. Thereby, the mechanical properties of the cable of the present invention, such as small impedance variation of high-frequency signal transmission, transmission stability, structural flexibility and bending, can be significantly improved.
Electrical cable with dielectric foam
Electrical cables and optical waveguides are disclosed as including an electrically insulative foam. The electrically insulative foam can coat at least one electrical conductor of the electrical cable. The electrically insulative foam can coat the optical fiber of the waveguide. The electrically insulative foam can also define a waveguide.
FLEXIBLE WIRING FOR LOW TEMPERATURE APPLICATIONS
The subject matter of the present disclosure may be embodied in devices, such as flexible wiring, that include: an elongated flexible substrate; multiple electrically conductive traces arranged in an array on a first side of the elongated flexible substrate; and an electromagnetic shielding layer on a second side of the elongated flexible substrate, the second side being opposite the first side, in which the elongated flexible substrate includes a fold region between a first electronically conductive trace and a second electrically conductive trace such that the electromagnetic shielding layer provides electromagnetic shielding between the first electronically conductive trace and the second electrically conductive trace.
Flexible Flat Cable for Improving High-frequency Transmission
Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to a flexible flat cable for improving high-frequency transmission, which has a multi-layer structure. The flexible flat cable includes an upper plastic film layer, an upper adhesive film layer, a plurality of wires arranged in parallel, a lower adhesive film layer, and a lower plastic film layer in turn from top to bottom. At least two adjacent wires have a dielectric space, which is capable of reducing conductor loss, thereby reducing the attenuation of the signal and improving the signal integrity.
