Coax cable for inductive charging
A coaxial cable includes a non-conductive core and a first flexible copper conductor which surrounds the non-conductive core and is used as an inner conductor of the coaxial cable. Insulation is provided around the first flexible copper conductor. A second flexible copper conductor which surrounds the insulation and serves as an outer conductor of the coaxial cable.
Oil-oil bushing and oil transformer
An oil-oil bushing is disclosed which can include a rotationally symmetrical, paraboloid-like, hollow bushing element of a solid insulating material, along the axial extent of which there is formed radially toward the inside a tubular bushing channel, the wall thickness of which is tapered conically toward at least one of its two ends. An electrical bushing conductor can be fitted into the bushing channel with a form fit and protrude from it on both sides. At at least one of the two axial ends of the bushing channel there is arranged a hollow-cylindrical shielding element of a conductive material, which is thick-walled at least in certain regions, which element can enclose on one side a respective end of the bushing channel, and on another side, electrically contact a connecting conductor.
Secure jacket
A secured cable system for protecting an inner cable is disclosed. The secured cable system includes a cable security system having a first security tape including a tape portion upon which a plurality of detection lines are arranged. The security system may also include a detection box in electrical or optical communication with each of the detection lines in the first security tape. In one embodiment, the security tape is spiral wrapped about the inner cable in a first direction along a length of the inner cable, the security tape being overlapped upon itself at a predetermined overlap factor. The secured cable system may also include a second security tape including a tape portion upon which a plurality of detection lines are arranged in a pattern wherein the second security tape is wrapped about the first security tape in a second direction opposite the first direction.
Bend Stiffener With Bend Indication
A bend stiffener including a body tapering from a base to a top. The body has a central through-opening, extending from the base to the top, which is arranged to receive a subsea cable or umbilical, and a first bend indicator arranged on the body. The first bend indicator has a proximal portion having a fixed end which is fixed relative to the body and a distal portion which has a free end. The first bend indicator extending from the fixed end to the free end in the axial direction of the body. The distal portion covers a bend indication portion of the bend stiffener, which bend indication portion has a first visual appearance, and which distal portion has a second visual appearance. The first visual appearance differs from a visual appearance of an area of the bend stiffener surrounding the bend indication portion.
Electrical wire having leakage current limiting function
The present disclosure relates to an electrical wire having a leakage current limiting function, in which, since a neutral line is provided to have a greater cross-sectional area than that of a phase voltage line, a leakage current leaking from the phase voltage line may be limited, and thus the risk of electric shock to the human body due to the leakage current may be minimized.
CABLE WITH ABNORMALITY SIGN DETECTION FUNCTION AND WIRE ABNORMALITY SIGN DETECTION SYSTEM
A cable with an abnormality sign detection function and a wire abnormality sign detection system that can perform stepwise detection of signs leading to breakage in a wire accurately. The cable contains a target wire containing a wire conductor and a wire covering that covers the conductor and a detection line containing a detection line conductor and a detection line covering that covers the detection line conductor, where the detection line conductor has a shorter flex life than the wire conductor and contains long-life elemental wires and short-life elemental wires having a shorter flex life than the long-life elemental wires, each of the long-life and short-life elemental wires containing a solid wire made of a conductive material and an insulation covering layer covering the solid wire, and in the detection line conductor, the short-life elemental wires are arranged in a layer around a bundle of the long-life elemental wires.

Systems, methods and tools for the interrogation of composite strength members
Systems, methods and tools for the interrogation of fiber-reinforced composite strength members to assess the structural integrity of the strength members. The systems and methods utilize the transmission of light through optical fibers that are embedded along the length of the strength members. The inability to detect light through one or more of the optical fibers may be an indication that the structural integrity of the strength member is compromised. The systems and methods may be implemented without great difficulty and may be implemented at any time in the life cycle of the strength member, from production through installation. The systems and methods have particular applicability to bare overhead electrical cables that include a fiber-reinforced strength member.
