The invention relates to power cable polymer composition which comprises a thermoplastic polyethylene having a chlorine content which is less than X, wherein X is 10 ppm, a power cable, for example, a high voltage direct current (HV DC), a power cable polymer insulation, use of a polymer composition for producing a layer of a power cable, and a process for producing a power cable.
Automated assembly sensor cable
An automated assembly sensor cable has a generally wide and flat elongated body and a registration feature generally traversing the length of the body so as to identify the relative locations of conductors within the body. This cable configuration facilitates the automated attachment of the cable to an optical sensor circuit and corresponding connector. In various embodiments, the automated assembly sensor cable has a conductor set of insulated wires, a conductive inner jacket generally surrounding the conductor set, an outer jacket generally surrounding the inner jacket and a registration feature disposed along the surface of the outer jacket and a conductive drain line is embedded within the inner jacket. A strength member may be embedded within the inner jacket.
Combination cable for vehicle
Provided is a combination cable for a vehicle that is capable of reducing noise interference and cross-talk between twisted pair wires. The combination cable for a vehicle includes a wire bundle and a sheath covering the wire bundle. The wire bundle includes a two-core first twisted pair wire, a two-core second twisted pair wire, a one-core first wire, and a one-core second wire. When viewed in cable cross-section, the wire bundle has the first twisted pair wire disposed on one side of a center line that runs from a center of the first wire to a center of the second wire, and has the second twisted pair wire disposed on the other side of the center line, and the first twisted pair wire and the second twisted pair wire are separated from each other.
