A telecommunications cable for making high resistance measurements comprising a plurality of bundles, each comprising a twisted pair of Category 6a copper conductors and a metal foil shield, one of said copper conductors in each twisted pair serving as a signal wire and the other of said copper conductors in each twisted pair being grounded to thereby serve as a noise ground; a braided grounded metal sheath surrounding said plurality of bundles of twisted pairs; and a grounded shield used as an outer sleeve, whereby said cable is triple grounded.

An Ethernet link is disclosed. The link includes a first Ethernet transceiver and a second Ethernet transceiver configured as a link partner to the first Ethernet transceiver. A shielded twisted quad (STQ) cable is interposed between the first Ethernet transceiver and the second Ethernet transceiver. The STQ cable includes four conductors, each conductor having a first end interfaced with a corresponding input/output (I/O) circuit of the first Ethernet transceiver in a single-ended configuration, and a second end interfaced with a corresponding input/output (I/O) circuit of the second Ethernet transceiver in a single-ended configuration.

A shielded electrical ribbon cable includes adjacent first and second longitudinal conductor sets where each conductor set includes two or more insulated conductors. The first conductor set also includes a ground conductor that generally lies in the plane of the insulated conductors of the first conductor set. At least 90% of the periphery of each conductor set is encompassed by a shielding film. First and second non-conductive polymeric films are disposed on opposite sides of the cable and form cover portions substantially surrounding each conductor set, and pinched portions on each side of each conductor set. When the cable is laid flat, the distance between the center of the ground conductor of the first conductor set and the center of the nearest insulated conductor of the second conductor set is 1, the center-to-center spacing of the insulated conductors of the second conductor set is 2, and 1/2 is greater than 0.7.

A communication cable includes a cable core including a plurality of pairs of wires, each of the pairs of wires being formed by spirally twisting two wires including conductors covered with an insulator, and an external jacket configured to cover an outer side of the cable core, where the external jacket includes a plurality of support arms to prevent contact between the cable core and an inner surface of the external jacket and to secure a separation space in a radial direction, the plurality of support arms being integrally formed with the external jacket, and each of the plurality of support arms including a connection part connected to the inner surface of the external jacket and a support part having an increased width at an end portion of the connection part to support the cable core, thereby enabling the communication cable to satisfy a standard of Cat.6A or higher.

LAN cable
A LAN cable includes a sheath; an electrical wire accommodated in the sheath and including a conductor and an insulating body covering the conductor; and an intermediate layer having a mass reduction rate at 500.degree. C. of less than or equal to 10% by mass and a mass reduction rate at 600.degree. C. of less than or equal to 50% by mass, and located between the sheath and the electrical wire. The insulating body includes polyethylene having a dielectric constant of smaller than or equal to 2.5. The sheath includes a polyolefin-based polymer and a flame retardant, and a content of the flame retardant in the sheath is greater than or equal to 150 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the polyolefin-based polymer.

The present invention relates to a communication cable capable of satisfying the communication cable standard of Cat. 6A or higher by minimizing interference between adjacent cables by a method of changing a structure of an external jacket without applying a metal shielding layer to cover each pair of wires or a whole cable core.
