The first electric wire conductor comprises a wire strand of a plurality of elemental wires twisted together, and has a flat portion where a cross-section of the wire strand intersecting an axial direction of the wire strand has a flat shape. The second covered electric wire comprises a second electric wire conductor made of copper or a copper alloy and an insulator covering the second electric wire conductor. The second electric wire conductor has a lower flatness and a smaller conductor cross-sectional area than the first electric wire conductor of the first covered electric wire.
Thin and uniform silver nanowires, method of synthesis and transparent conductive films formed from the nanowires
Highly uniform and thin silver nanowires are described having average diameters below 20 nm and a small standard deviation of the diameters. The silver nanowires have a high aspect ratio. The silver nanowires can be characterized by a small number of nanowires having a diameter greater than 18 nm as well as with a blue shifted narrow absorption spectrum in a dilute solution. Methods are described to allow for the synthesis of the narrow uniform silver nanowires. Transparent conductive films formed from the thin, uniform silver nanowires can have very low levels of haze and low values of ΔL*, the diffusive luminosity, such that the transparent conductive films can provide little alteration of the appearance of a black background.
COVERED ELECTRICAL WIRE AND TERMINAL-EQUIPPED ELECTRICAL WIRE
A covered electrical wire including a conductor and an insulating coating layer covering an outer periphery of the conductor, in which the conductor is a twisted wire obtained by concentrically twisting together a plurality of elemental wires constituted by a copper alloy, the copper alloy contains one or more elements selected from Fe, Ti, Mg, Sn, Ag, Ni, In, Zn, Cr, Al, and P in a total amount of 0.01 mass % to 5.5 mass % inclusive, and the remaining portion includes Cu and inevitable impurities, and an amount of oil adhering to a surface of a central elemental wire disposed at a central portion of the twisted wire is 10 μg/g or less with respect to the mass of the central elemental wire.
Metal Wiring and Method of Manufacturing the Same, and Metal Wiring Substrate and Method of Manufacturing the Same
A metal wiring suitable for a substrate of large size is provided. The present invention is characterized in that at least one layer of conductive film is formed on an insulating surface, a resist pattern is formed on the conductive film, and the conductive film having the resist pattern is etched to form a metal wiring while controlling its taper angle in accordance with the bias power density, the ICP power density, the temperature of lower electrode, the pressure, the total flow rate of etching gas, or the ratio of oxygen or chlorine in etching gas. The thus formed metal wiring has less fluctuation in width or length and can satisfactorily deal with an increase in size of substrate.

An electric wire conductor 10A comprising a wire strand comprising a plurality of elemental wires 1 twisted together, the wire strand comprising a deformed part in which a cross-section of the wire strand intersecting an axial direction of the wire strand is formed into: a flat shape in which a width W of the cross-section is larger than a height H of the cross-section, or a sector shape comprising either a single edge or two edges touching each other at an apex and an outward curve connecting the ends of the single edge or the two edges, the elemental wires 1 having, in the cross-section of deformed part, deformation ratios from a circle of 70% or lower at an outer peripheral part facing an outer periphery of the deformed part than at a center part located inside the outer peripheral part. Further, a covered electric wire has such an electric wire conductor 10A and an insulator to cover an outer periphery of the electric wire conductor 10A. Furthermore, a wire harness includes such a covered electric wire. In addition, such an electric wire conductor 10A is manufactured by performing a compression step pressurizing a raw wire strand comprising elemental wires twisted together with rollers from a first direction and a second direction which intersect an axial direction of the raw wire strand and oppose each other.
