An electric energy transmission aluminum part and a machining process therefor including an aluminum conductive device (1) and an aluminum cable, with the aluminum cable including an aluminum conductive core (2) and an insulation layer (3) cladding a surface of the aluminum conductive core (2). An exposed section of the aluminum conductive core (2) with the insulation layer (3) stripped from the aluminum cable and at least part of the aluminum conductive core (2) clad with the insulation layer (3) are crimped inside the aluminum conductive device (1). A transition section (4) with a trapezoidal axial cross-section is provided at a junction between the insulation layer (3) and the exposed section of the aluminum conductive core (2) in the aluminum conductive device (1). Taking the transition section (4) as a demarcation point, an inner diameter of an end of the aluminum conductive device (1) that is crimped with the insulation layer (3) is greater than an inner diameter of an end of the aluminum conductive device (1) that is crimped with the aluminum conductive core (2). At least one concave structure is provided on a periphery of the aluminum conductive device (1). The concave structure provided on the surface of the aluminum conductive device (1) can effectively prevent the aluminum conductive device (1) from moving relative to a clamp, so as to solve the problem of displacement or rotation of the aluminum conductive device (1) in the clamp during welding, and improve the welding efficiency and the yield.
WIRING MEMBER
An object is to provide a technique capable of simply fixing a wire-like transmission member to a sheet regardless of a type of the wire-like transmission member. A wiring member includes a sheet, a holding member fixed to the sheet, and a first wire-like transmission member held by the holding member. The bolding member includes a holding part in which a groove and a protrusion narrowing a width dimension of an opening part of the groove are formed. The first wire-like transmission member is housed in the groove.
Moisture-curable adhesive tape and method for jacketing elongated items, especially leads
The present invention relates to an adhesive tape and to a method for jacketing an elongated item, more particularly cable sets. The adhesive tape must cure within the operational dictates for further processing, e.g. within 6 min, and after curing must exhibit the required dimensional stability properties. However, the adhesive compositions must not cure during storage itself, since otherwise they can no longer be used. Nor may the curing temperatures be too high, since otherwise the lead insulation, which is often made of PVC, may suffer damage. The invention proposes a method for jacketing an elongated item such as more particularly leads or cable sets, where a tape which comprises a moisture-curing binder on a carrier is first impregnated with water and immediately thereafter is guided in a helical line around the elongated item or the elongated item is wrapped in an axial direction by the adhesive tape, the elongated item together with the adhesive tape wrapping is brought into the desired disposition, more particularly into the cable set plan, the elongated item is held in this disposition, while the curable adhesive cures. Alternatively proposed is a method for jacketing an elongated item such as more particularly leads or cable sets, where a tape which comprises a moisture-curing binder on a carrier is guided in a helical line around the elongated item or the elongated item is wrapped in an axial direction by the adhesive tape, the elongated item together with the adhesive tape wrapping is brought into the desired disposition, more particularly into the cable set plan, the elongated item is held in this disposition, and the curable adhesive is brought to cure by the supply of moisture.
Wire harness manufacturing system and wire harness manufacturing method

APPARATUS AND SYSTEM ADAPTED TO ENABLE MANUFACTURE OF WIRE HARNESSES AND CABLE ASSEMBLIES
The device, system and process of the present invention greatly reduces the time and space necessary to assemble a wire harness enables efficient manufacture of wire harnesses and cable assemblies. The present invention comprises at least a wire or cable viewer module, a machine vision and optical character recognition module, one or more receptacles designed to receive and hold in place a wire harness or cable assembly connector, having multiple pin-hole cavities illuminated by a light source to identify a cavity for wire or cable insertion. Moreover, the present invention may further comprise a portable, computer-implemented system capable of executing a series of automated process steps designed to identify wire and cable markings and guide the error-free insertion of identified wires and cables into wire harness connector pin-hole receptacles for assembly of a wire harness or cable assembly.
WIRING MEMBER
