Electric fence insulator
An insulator for an electric fence, an electric fence system using the insulator, and a method of installing same are disclosed herein. The insulator includes a body having a first end and a second end, and a wire attachment portion positioned at the first end of the body. A passage passes through the wire attachment portion, the passage including a first open end, a second open end, and a waist region between the first open end and the second open end. The diameter of the passage at the first open end and the diameter of the second open end are both greater than at the waist region.
LAUNDRY TREATING APPARATUS
A laundry treating apparatus incudes a first treating apparatus, a second treating apparatus that is disposed vertically below the first treating apparatus and supports the first treating apparatus, and an insulating portion that connects the first treating apparatus and the second treating apparatus to each other. The first treating apparatus includes a first cabinet that defines an external appearance of the first treating apparatus, and a first drum disposed inside the first cabinet and configured to accommodate laundry therein. The second treating apparatus includes a second cabinet that defines an external appearance of the second treating apparatus, and a second drum disposed inside the second cabinet and configured to accommodate laundry therein. The insulating portion includes an insulating material and electrically insulates the first treating apparatus and the second treating apparatus from each other.

POST INSULATOR AND INSULATED SUPPORT POST
Disclosed in the present invention is a post insulator, comprising a hollow insulating tube, a shed positioned on periphery of the hollow insulating tube, and an upper flange and a lower flange provided at two ends of the hollow insulating tube, wherein gas is sealed inside of the hollow insulating tube, and the absolute pressure of the gas is 0.1-0.15 MPa. Further disclosed is an insulated support post formed by the end-to-end connection of the post insulators. The post insulator and the insulated support post of the present invention solve an interface problem present in internal insulating solid material filling, and also solve a gas leaking problem that occurs when using high-pressure gas filling, such that the post insulator does not need to be detected and maintained. At the same time, the margin of the micro-water control range is improved, and micro-water control and production difficulty is reduced.
HIGH VOLTAGE CONDUCTOR COVER WITH FENDERS OVER RETAINING PIN HOLES
A dielectric cover for an insulator, supporting a high voltage conductor in an electrical distribution system, has holes for receiving retaining pins. The retaining pins are used to secure the cover over the insulator and conductor. Arched fenders, which may be circular or have a bottom opening, extend out from the cover and overlie the holes and ends of the pins. The fenders prevent birds roosting on the pin, increase the dielectric surface length between the top of the cover and the electrical conductor above the pins, and protect the pins from contamination issues which would reduce the dielectric properties of the pins. Contamination issues include birds defecating on the pins, which can create a conductive path between the bird and the inside of the cover, and atmospheric moisture such as rain, snow, and ice on the pins. Thus, wildlife is protected from electrocution.
Support structure and layout for a HVDC disconnector
A support structure for a HVDC disconnector is disclosed. The support structure comprises a support insulator having a body enclosing a chamber; an insulating gas provided in the chamber; and a first flange and a second flange positioned at opposite ends of the support insulator. A rotating insulator may be positioned in the chamber.
