Creating a finishing pattern on a garment by laser
Software and lasers are used in finishing apparel to produce a desired wear pattern or other design. A technique includes determining a fabric's response to a laser, capturing an initial image of a wear pattern on a garment, and processing the initial image to obtain a working image in grayscale. The working image is further processed to obtain a difference image by comparing each pixel relative to a dark reference. The difference image is converted to a laser values image by using the previously determined fabric response to the laser.
GARMENT PATTERN ENGINEERING UTILIZING TWO-DIMENSIONAL IMAGARY OF THE HUMAN FORM
Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, system and computer program product for computer assisted pattern drafting in garment development. In an embodiment of the invention, a pattern making method includes initially acquiring a multiplicity of different two-dimensional image slices of a human form. Thereafter, a panel of a portion of a pattern of a garment is selected for processing in a data processing system and a metric computational rule for the selected panel is mapped to one of the two-dimensional image slices. A measurement of the one of the two-dimensional image slices is then acquired and the mapped metric computational rule is applied using the acquired measurement to produce a measurement for the selected panel.
Virtual Showroom System with Augmented Reality
A system allows a user to select designs for apparel and preview these designs before manufacture. The previews provide photorealistic visualizations in two or three dimensions, and can be presented on a computer display, projected on a screen, or presented in virtual reality (e.g., via headset), or augmented reality. The system can also include a projection system that projects the new designs onto garments on mannequins in a showroom. The garments and the new designs projected onto the garments have a three-dimensional appearance as if the garments having the new designs are worn by people. Software and lasers are used in finishing the garments to produce garments with the new designs and the finished garments have an appearance of the three-dimensional appearance of the garments and new designs on the mannequins with the new designs projected onto the garments by the projection system.
COMPUTER-IMPLEMENTED METHODS FOR ENHANCING, HANDLING, AND RESIZING 3D GARMENT MODELS
The present invention relates to a first computer-implemented method for embedding a manufacturing definition model into a first 3D garment model representing a first garment to be fabricated. Further, the invention relates to a second computer-implemented method for digitally approving a modified second 3D garment model representing a second garment to be fabricated. The invention also relates to a third computer-implemented method for automatically grading a third 3D garment model representing a second garment to be fabricated in at least one different size.
Methods and Systems for Improved Manufacturing of Off-The-Rack, Tailored and/or Customized Clothing
Methods and systems for the improved manufacturing of off-the-rack, tailored and/or customized clothing include a dual-sizing chart, dual-sizing pattern making process, dual-sized pattern, dual-sizing garments, manufacturing interface, dual-sizing ordering and marketing process, dual-sizing ordering interface, dual-sizing conversion process, dual-sized garment (for example a dress, pant suit, shapewear or one-piece swimsuit, romper, or jumper), and a dual-sizing manufacturing process.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR MANUFACTURE OF A GARMENT
Methods and systems for manufacture of a garment are disclosed, in particular for generating fabrication data for manufacture of a garment, where said garment is for regulation of a body region of a wearer of the garment. Measurement data for the body region of the wearer is obtained, and the measurement data is modified to simulate a regulating effect for the garment. The modified measurement data is used to generate the fabrication data for manufacturing the garment. The measurement data may be obtained for an unregulated state of the body region of the wearer, the measurement data may be modified to simulate a regulated state of the body region of the wearer. An initial form of the garment may be manufactured using the fabrication data, and the measurement data used to obtain a three-dimensional model of the body region. The initial form of the garment may then be compared to the three-dimensional model; and the comparison used to modify the initial form of the garment.
Computer aided systems and methods for creating custom products
A computer-aided design system enables physical articles to be customized via printing or embroidering. A user interface may be generated that includes an image of a model of an article of manufacture and user customizable design areas that are graphically indicated on the image corresponding to the model. A design area selection may be received. In response to an add design element instruction and design element specification, the specified design element is rendered in the selected design area on the model image. Customization permissions associated with the selected design area are accessed, and using the customization permissions, a first set of design element edit tools are selected and rendered. User edits to the design element may be received and rendered in real time. Manufacturing instructions may be transmitted to a printing system.
Clothing pattern making management system
A clothing pattern making management system, applicable to a server and used for allowing users to connect and manage a plurality of clothing pattern making data via a network, at least including a database and a login and authority management module, a search and viewing module, a connection and upload module, and a management and download module. Through the data connection to a business system, the system is able to facilitate the users to perform data upload and management in order to achieve proper preservation and management of a large quantity of pattern drawings for various styles of clothes and for all stages, and to achieve the effects of learning exchange and passing on of techniques.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND SOFTWARE FOR MANUFACTURING A CUSTOM-KNITTED ARTICLE
Apparel patterns may be generated as a function of custom apparel information provided by a user, such as one or more measurements, colors, etc., such that the user can have apparel custom-knitted to their particular size and shape without having to acquiesce the high expense and long wait times typically associated with custom-fit clothing. After a custom apparel pattern is generated, a custom-knitted article can be manufactured based on the pattern by transmitting appropriate information to a knitting machine. Data produced while generating custom apparel patterns can be stored and used to optimize and improve the manufacturing of customized knitwear for subsequent users. Further, such data can be shared with third parties such that manufacturers or others can utilize one or more beneficial aspects of the present disclosure without having to implement all of the functionality that would otherwise be required to obtain such benefits.
