Current transformer with self-adjusting cores

A current transformer includes a first housing including a first handle portion and a first distal portion, a second housing including a second handle portion and a second distal portion, a first core having a first proximal core end and a first distal core end the first core mounted in rotational contact within the first distal portion, and a second core having a second proximal core end and a second distal core end, the second core mounted in rotational contact within the second distal portion, wherein the first housing is rotationally coupled to the second housing about a fulcrum point.

PLANAR TRANSFORMER WITH REDUCED PARASITIC LOSSES

A planar transformer including a planar first primary coil; a planar first secondary coil inductively coupled with the first primary coil; and a transformer magnetic core for guiding a magnetic flux generated by the first primary coil and/or the first secondary coil around at least a first opening of the transformer magnetic core. The first primary coil and the first secondary coil are coiled around the transformer magnetic core through the first opening. The first primary coil and the first secondary coil are arranged on a first plane. The embodiments further refer to a battery charger including such a planar transformer.

Transformer and method of manufacturing the same

Disclosed herein are a transformer and a method of manufacturing the same. The transformer includes: a primary side winding having a loop shape; a secondary side winding formed on the same plane as that of the primary side winding in a remaining section except for at least a section at which it intersects with the primary side winding and having the same loop shape as that of the primary side winding so as to be electromagnetically coupled to the primary side winding; and an intersecting section formed so that the primary side and secondary side windings having the sum of the turn numbers of 3 or more intersect with each other in a two-layer structure, wherein the intersecting section includes at least one point of intermediate node having one side connected in a first layer and the other side connected in a second layer.

A magnetic device includes a first conductive structure, a second conductive structure and a magnetic core formed of a powder magnetic material. The first conductive structure includes a first connection part, a first conductive body and a second connection part. The first conductive body is connected between the first connection part and the second connection part. The second conductive structure includes a third connection part, a second conductive body and a fourth connection part. The powder magnetic material, the first conductive structure and the second conductive structure are laminated together. The first conductive structure and the second conductive structure are embedded in the magnetic core. The first connection part and the third connection part are exposed to the fifth surface. The second connection part and the fourth connection part are exposed to the sixth surface.

INSULATING DEVICE

An insulating device includes a first electrode, a second electrode, and an insulating film. The insulating film is located between the first electrode and the second electrode. The insulating film includes a positive charged region. The positive charged region is located at a portion in a direction from the first electrode toward the second electrode.

Inductor device

An inductor device includes first, second, third and fourth wire, first and second connector, and eight-shaped inductor structure. First and second wires are disposed in first and second areas. Third wire is disposed in first area and partially overlapped with first wire in a vertical direction, and third wire is coupled to second wire. Fourth wire is disposed in second area and partially overlapped with second wire in the vertical direction, and fourth wire is coupled to first wire. First connector is partially overlapped with first wire or third wire in the vertical direction, and is coupled to inner wire and outer wire of third wire. Second connector is partially overlapped with second wire or fourth wire in the vertical direction, and is coupled to inner and outer wire of fourth wire. Eight-shaped inductor structure is disposed on outer side of third wire and fourth wire.

Also disclosed is a stacked integrated transformer having a primary winding and secondary winding of which one or both have a waterfall structure and a portion of which functions as a ground connected shield between the secondary winding and the primary winding.

The first inductor and the second inductor are disposed in an interlaced manner. Except jump wires, the first and the second inductors are substantially disposed on a first layer. At least one of the first turns is substantially disposed between another first turn and one of the second turns.
