ELECTROCHEMICAL ENERGY STORAGE CELL AND BATTERY
An electrochemical energy storage cell includes a first electrically insulating substrate and a first electrical conductor layer extending on an area of the first electrically insulating substrate, a second electrically insulating substrate and a second electrical conductor layer extending on an area of the second electrically insulating substrate, a first electrode layer composed of positive electrode material, a second electrode layer composed of negative electrode material, a first separator layer, a stacked arrangement of the layers: the first electrically insulating substrate—the first electrical conductor layer—the first electrode layer—the first separator layer—the second electrode layer—the second electrical conductor layer—the second electrically insulating substrate, a first electrolyte enabling an ion flow between the electrode layers, an electrode region with the stacked arrangement of the electrode layers and a supercapacitor region, a second separator layer, a second electrolyte enabling an ion flow between the supercapacitor layers.
METHODS, SYSTEMS AND APPARATUS FOR POWERING A VEHICLE
This application is directed to an apparatus for providing electrical charge to a vehicle. The apparatus can comprise a driven mass, a generator, a capacitor storage device, and a battery storage device. The driven mass can rotate in response to a kinetic energy of the vehicle and is coupled to a shaft such that rotation of the driven mass causes the shaft to rotate. The generator can generate an electrical output based on a mechanical input coupled to the shaft such that rotation of the shaft causes the mechanical input to rotate. The capacitor storage device can receive at least a portion of the electrical output from the generator. The capacitor storage device can store at least the portion of the electrical output. The capacitor storage device can convey at least the portion of the electrical output received from the generator to the battery storage device.
ELECTRICAL STORAGE MODULE
An electrical storage module includes: an electrical storage device; a case in which an electrical storage device is housed; and a lid configured to cover an opening part of the case. The case includes a groove part at an outer periphery of the opening part, and the lid includes a rib configured to be inserted into the groove part. A sealing member is present between the rib and the groove part. The sealing member, in a state of having viscosity, is accommodated in the groove part, and then is cured, and the viscosity becomes low. The sealing member is an adhesive.
ELECTRICAL STORAGE MODULE
An electrical storage module includes: an electrical storage device; a case in which an electrical storage device is housed; and a lid configured to cover an opening part of the case. The case includes a groove part at an outer periphery of the opening part, and the lid includes a rib configured to be inserted into the groove part. A sealing member is present between the rib and the groove part. The sealing member, in a state of having viscosity, is accommodated in the groove part, and then is cured, and the viscosity becomes low. The sealing member is an adhesive.
Systems and methods for managing a vehicle's energy via a wireless network
The disclosure is directed to methods and systems for provisioning mobile electric vehicles with various operational settings data transmitted over the air. A vehicle or its components may operate according to operational settings corresponding to operational settings data included in the vehicle components. A server that is remote to the vehicle may comprise operational settings data and may transmit operational settings data to the vehicle. The server may transmit operational settings data automatically, such as on a periodic basis, in response to a request, such as from a user or from a vehicle component or anytime new or updated operational settings data are available for the vehicle or its components.
Electricity storage module
An electricity storage module includes: an electricity storage device; a case that houses the electricity storage device and includes a bottom surface part and the opening part located at a side opposite to the bottom surface part; a lid that covers an opening part; and a sealing member that seals between the case and the lid. The case has a first case surface that surrounds the opening part along an outer periphery of the opening part. The lid has a first lid surface facing the first case surface. The sealing member is disposed between the first case surface and the first lid surface.
ENERGY STORAGE APPARATUS
An energy storage apparatus includes an energy storage device, a spacer disposed adjacent to the energy storage device, and an outer case which accommodates the energy storage device and the spacer. The spacer includes a projecting portion which projects from a bottom surface of the energy storage device. An inner surface of the outer case which faces a bottom surface of the energy storage device is provided with an accommodating portion which accommodates the projecting portion, and a placement surface portion which is disposed adjacent to the accommodating portion in an arrangement direction of the spacer and the energy storage device and on which the bottom surface of the energy storage device is placed.
ELECTRICAL STORAGE MODULE
An electrical storage module includes: a plurality of electrical storage devices; and a bus bar that connects electrode terminals of the electrical storage devices to each other, in which the electrical storage device includes an outer covering can in which an opening is formed, and a plate-shaped sealing body that is provided with the electrode terminal and is inserted into the opening of the outer covering can, the electrode terminal has a container that includes a through-hole or a recess that is formed in a direction substantially orthogonal to a direction in which the sealing body is inserted into the outer covering can, and the bus bar includes a press-fitting portion that is press-fitted into the container.
ELECTRICAL STORAGE DEVICE
Provided is an electrical storage device that is compact and can be manufactured easily, while allowing for use of higher voltages. In an electrical storage device, a winding structure comprises: a central electrode body in which a first extending part and a second extending part extending from either side of a central portion are wound around the central portion in the same direction; a first electrode body electrically connected to a first external terminal and extending toward an outer peripheral side from a vicinity of the central portion; a second electrode body electrically connected to a second external terminal and extending toward the outer peripheral side from a vicinity of the central portion; a first separator disposed between the central electrode body and the first electrode body; and a second separator disposed between the central electrode body and the second electrode body.
ELECTRIC DOUBLE-LAYER CAPACITOR
A package electric double-layer capacitor having a first terminal that extends from a package at a first corner of a first cell, which is adjacent to a second cell, on one side in a second direction orthogonal to a first direction. A second terminal extends from the package at the first corner in the first direction and on a side of the first terminal opposite to the second cell. A third terminal extends from the package at a second corner of the second cell, which is adjacent to the first cell and the first corner. A fourth terminal extends from the package at the second corner in the first direction and on a side of the third terminal opposite to the first cell.
