Bicycle control device
A bicycle control device for issuing at least one command to at least one bicycle equipment comprises a body configured to be mounted on the bicycle, at least one manual actuation member associated with the body, and a clicking mechanism. The clicking mechanism comprises a magnetic clicking switch having a first element that is fixed with respect to the body, and a second element that is movable with respect to the first element and actuatable by said at least one manual actuation member when said manual actuation member issues said command.
Thermal fuse
A thermal fuse for an electrical circuit is described, with a contact arm by way of which two electrical conductors are electrically conductively connected to each other, wherein the connection of the contact arm to at least one of the two conductors is a soldered joint, which loses its strength when a activation temperature of the fuse is reached. In accordance with this disclosure a permanent magnet is provided, which generates a magnetic force, which lifts the contact arm from at least one of the two conductors as soon as the soldered joint loses its strength.

A foot pedal system for controlling a surgical robotic system, the foot pedal system comprising a foot pedal assembly movably coupled to a foot pedal assembly platform. The foot pedal assembly having a foot pedal base, a foot pedal pivotally coupled to the foot pedal base, and a foot pedal platform, the foot pedal base operable to slide across the foot pedal platform along an x-axis and a y-axis to an arrangement of activation positions. The foot pedal platform operable to translate and rotate with respect to the foot pedal assembly platform to any position along the foot pedal assembly platform, and the foot pedal platform is operable to engage or disengage with the foot pedal assembly platform at the any position along the foot pedal assembly platform.

According to various embodiments, an input device may be provided. The input device may include: a housing with a lower portion and an upper portion; a depressible button provided in the upper portion; a first magnetic component coupled to the depressible button and configured to move at least substantially along an axis when the depressible button is depressed; a second magnetic component coupled to the lower portion at least substantially at the axis, wherein at least one of the first magnetic component and the second magnetic component includes an electromagnet; an interface configured to receive control information from a computing device external to the input device; and a control circuit configured to control the electromagnet based on the control information.

A control element having a beam member divided into an actuation section and a valve section positioned on opposing sides of a pivot member, in which active control of the actuation section causes buckling of the valve section to bring the valve section from a closed state to an open state or causes relaxing of the valve section to bring the valve section from an open state to a closed state.

A human-machine interface comprising: a magnetic rocker rotatably movable between a rest position wherein an implement is maintained in a neutral position and a tilted position wherein the implement is in a reclined position, a magnetic assembly, attached to a frame, capable of cooperating with the magnetic rocker to generate a magnetic return force that constantly urges the magnetic rocker towards its rest position, a sliding connection comprising a flange and a slide, and the implement comprises one of the slides, and the flange and the magnetic rocker comprise the other of the slide and the flange such that the sliding connection transforms the movement of the implement towards the reclined position by moving the magnetic rocker towards its tilted position and vice versa.
