HOT SWAP COMPONENT AND CIRCUIT BREAKING APPARATUS USED WITH CIRCUIT BREAKER
A hot swap component includes a movable portion and a fixed portion that may be electrically connected to each other by using electrical connectors. When a circuit breaker works, a pin (12a, 12c) that is of an electrical connector and that is located on the movable portion is correspondingly connected to a base (12b, 12d) located on the fixed portion, and the fixed portion and the circuit breaker inside the movable portion are conducted. When the circuit breaker is faulty and needs to be repaired and replaced, the movable portion can be pulled out from the fixed portion, and the circuit breaker is electrically disconnected from the fixed portion. An anti-electric shock protection mechanism of the fixed portion isolates a first base inside the fixed portion, thereby implementing safe hot swap of the circuit breaker.
Base for a retrofit remote control device
A remote control device may control electrical loads and/or load control devices of a load control system without accessing electrical wiring. The remote control device may include a control unit and a base that may be configured to be mounted over a paddle actuator of an installed mechanical switch. The base may include a frame, a biasing member, and/or a ribbon portion. The frame may be configured to secure the remote control device thereto. The frame may define a rear surface that is configured to abut a bezel of the mechanical switch. The biasing member may be configured to engage a rear surface of a faceplate of the mechanical switch. The ribbon portion may be configured to attach the biasing member to the frame. The ribbon portion may be configured to extend through a gap between the bezel and the faceplate.
Push-button switch
A push-button switch may include a housing, an operation unit, a lock lever unit, a transmission mechanism, a movement regulating portion, a contact mechanism, and a first biasing portion. The movement regulating portion enables movement of a lever body to a second position when an end of the operation unit on a housing portion side is positioned at an initial position, and disables movement of the lever body to the second position when the end of the operation unit on the housing portion side is positioned closer to an operation surface than the initial position in a movable direction. The first biasing portion biases the plunger from an operating position toward a return position.
