Control device having an integral reflecting structure for a sensing circuit
A wall-mounted keypad may include a light detector circuit located inside the keypad that is configured to measure an ambient light level in a space. The light detector circuit may receive ambient light through an aperture that is hidden from view by the keypad. The keypad may include a reflector for directing ambient light onto the light detector circuit. The keypad may include an enclosure that houses the light detector circuit. The enclosure may define a recess that exposes at least a portion of the light detector circuit. The enclosure may include a reflector that may focus ambient light received through the aperture onto the light detector circuit. The keypad may include a control circuit that may be configured to illuminate the indicia of respective buttons of the control device in response to actuations of the one or more buttons, in accordance with the measured ambient light level.
BUTTON DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC APPARATUS
An example of a button device includes a keytop, a spacer and a substrate. At least a part of the keytop is light-transmissive. The spacer is provided below the keytop and at least a part of the spacer is light-transmissive. The substrate is provided below the spacer and has a light-emitting section and a detection section on an upper surface. A lower surface of a central portion of the keytop is located on an upper side relative to a lower surface of an outer edge portion around the central portion. The spacer includes a protruding portion protruding in a downward direction. The protruding portion presses the detection section in response to movement of the spacer in the downward direction due to the keytop being pressed.
SWITCH PLATE COVER DEVICE
A switch plate cover device is provided. The device provides a functional and artistic surround to an existing switch plate cover assembly. The device is fashioned for insertion beneath an existing wall plate. A recessed inner lip of the device is adapted for positioning beneath an existing wall plate, the inner lip serving to cover any gaps between the existing wall plate and the wall, while also serving to lock the device in place beneath and around the wall plate. The device can effectively repair any gaps between the wall plate and the wall.

Push Switch and Motor Vehicle Having a Push Switch
A push switch and a motor vehicle in which such a push switch is used. The push switch has a push cap, a baseplate, a switch element which is actuatable by the push cap, a first lever, and a second lever. The first lever and the second lever are mounted rotatably on the baseplate by means of bearing blocks and are each connected movably to the push cap at a first lever end. At a second lever end, the first lever and the second lever are connected movably to one another. The first lever and the second lever are designed such that they form mass compensation for the push cap.
Control device having buttons with metallic surfaces and backlit indicia
The control device includes a button having a backlit indicium (or indicia) indicating a function of the button. The button may comprise a button body that is translucent and configured to be backlit by a lighting element. A front surface of the button body may be opaque outside of the area of the indicium (or indicia). The button body may have a post that extends from a rear surface of the button body and is aligned with an actuator. The control device may have a plurality of such buttons. Selection of a button by a user, such as by pressing the button, results in the selected button displaying a greater illumination intensity than a button that is not selected.
BUTTON WITH ILLUMINATION RING
A hardware product for creating a light ring and a dead front effect. The product may include a housing with an opening. The hardware product may also include a button positioned within the opening and configured to be depressed by a user. The button is constructed using a two-part molding process and includes a first shot and a second shot. The first shot is configured to disperse light around the perimeter shape of the opening. The second shot is constructed from an optically opaque or semi-opaque material. A single light-emitting component electrically coupled to the circuit board provides light for creating the light ring.
Keypad having illuminated buttons
A control device for controlling power delivered to an electrical load may illuminate an area around a button of the control device, such as a gap formed between the button and an opening of a faceplate of the control device. The control device may illuminate the gap to provide a nightlight feature, to provide feedback (e.g., a status of the electrical load), and/or to indicate a selected preset. The button may have a cap portion that may be actuated by a user and a diffuser portion that may contact a rear surface of the cap portion and may conduct light emitted by an internal light source to illuminate the gap around the button.

SWITCH STRUCTURE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
A switch structure includes a light-emitting part configured to receive power from a vehicle and to radiate light, a moving block located so as to surround the light-emitting part, a light-transmissive part configured to allow light radiated from the light-emitting part to pass through an opening in the moving block, and a film-printing layer located on a top surface of the light-transmissive part and including a symbol.
