ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND NOB MODULE THEREOF
An electronic device and a knob module thereof are provided. The knob module includes a circuit board, a rotary encoder, a light guide structure, a plurality of light emitting units, and a rotation cover. The rotary encoder is disposed on the circuit board. The light guide structure is disposed on the circuit board. The light guide structure includes a light guide ring and an annular light guide wall. The light guide ring surrounds the rotary encoder. The annular light guide wall extends downward from the light guide ring to abut against the circuit board. The plurality of light emitting units is disposed on the circuit board and located between the annular light guide wall and the rotary encoder for emitting light toward the annular light guide wall. The rotation cover is disposed on the rotary encoder.
Input devices with glyphs having a semitransparent mirror layer
An electronic device includes an enclosure, a substrate within the enclosure, a keycap support mechanism, and a keycap supported by the keycap support mechanism and movable relative to the substrate. The keycap includes a body, a mask layer defining a glyph opening, and a semitransparent mirror layer positioned within the glyph opening. The electronic device also includes a light source configured to direct light through the semitransparent mirror layer.
Intelligent lighting control system multi-way-detection apparatuses, systems, and methods
The present disclosure provides intelligent lighting control systems.
Faceplates of switching devices having programmable functionality markings and methods of using the same
Present disclosure relates to a faceplate having programmable functionality markings for a switching device. The faceplate includes a functionality marking programmer, a functionality marking input interface, a functionality marking display and a circuit board. A user uses functionality marking programmer to designate switching device to a specific functionality with a corresponding functionality marking. The circuit board includes a control module. The control module includes a processor and a non-volatile memory storing an operating system and computer executable instructions, when executed at processor, computer executable instructions cause processor to: receive, from user through functionality marking input interface, functionality marking programming instructions, designate, by a functionality marking programmer, one of a set of functionality markings to the switching device according to the functionality marking programming instructions received from the functionality marking input interface, and display, by the functionality marking display on the faceplate, the programmed functionality marking of the switching device.
Desk top item with LED means has USB-units or USB-module to charge other electric or digital data devices
Desk top items with LEDs or another light source also include at least one USB-unit or USB-module and, optionally, additional outlet-units, to supply power to other electric or digital devices such as a smart phone or digital data device. The USB-unit(s), USB-module(s) or outlet-unit(s) fit within or are installed anywhere on the desk top item's housing, including anywhere on a base, pole, bar, stand, step, contour, edge, or wall of the housing.
COOKTOP AND KNOB ASSEMBLY THEREOF
A cooktop includes a knob assembly coupled to a control panel and controlling a heating part. The knob assembly includes: a knob body disposed at a front surface of the control panel and rotating around a rotation shaft, a knob ring disposed at a rear side of the knob body and having a diameter greater than a diameter of the knob body, a light diffusing part disposed between the knob body and the knob ring, and a light source part comprising one or more light sources irradiating light. A diameter of the light diffusing part is greater than the diameter of the knob body and less than the diameter of the knob ring, a front surface of the light diffusing part is exposed between the knob body and the knob ring, and one of the light sources irradiates light between the knob body and the knob ring.
COOKTOP AND KNOB ASSEMBLY THEREOF
A cooktop includes a knob assembly coupled to a control panel and configured to control a heating part. The knob assembly includes: a knob body disposed at a front surface of the control panel and rotating with respect to a rotation shaft extended in a front-rear direction, a knob ring disposed at a rear side of the knob body and having a diameter greater than a diameter of the knob body, and a light source part disposed at the rear side of the knob body and including one or more light sources irradiating light to the rear side of the knob body. A portion of a rear surface of the knob body includes a first reflective surface reflecting light, and a portion of a surface of the knob ring includes a second reflective surface reflecting light, the portion of the surface of the knob ring facing the knob body.
Active cover plates
A variety of active cover plate configurations with prongs configured to contact side screw terminals of electrical receptacles are described. In one illustrative embodiment, an active cover plate includes a multi-gang face plate configured to be installed over a multi-gang light switch installation, the multi-gang faceplate including at least two apertures sized to accept a manually manipulatable element of switches in the multi-gang light switch installation. Prongs extend rearward from the multi-gang faceplate around at least one of the apertures.
Safety switch
A safety switch includes an actuator that has a first possible actuator position and a second possible actuator position and a blocker that has a first possible blocker position and a second possible blocker position. The first possible blocker position overlaps with the second possible actuator position. The safety switch includes a device for generating an electrical signal representative of a current position of the actuator. When the actuator is in the first possible actuator position and the blocker is in the first possible blocker position, the blocker prevents movement of the actuator from the first possible actuator position to the second possible actuator position without first moving the blocker from the first possible blocker position to the second possible blocker position.
Control knob for controlling operation of a machine
A control button for controlling operation a machine including: an attachment member for attaching the control button to the machine; a display member including an electronic display module; an operational mode display controller for controlling display of operational modes of the machine upon the electronic display module, the operational mode display controller being operably connected with the electronic display module so that, in response to the operational mode display controller, the electronic display module is configured to display a plurality of operational modes of the machine; and an operational mode selector for controlling selection of one of the operational modes of the machine when one of the operational modes are displayed on the electronic display module, the operational mode selector being configured for movement between at least a first position and a second position to actuate selection of the operational mode displayed on the electronic display module.
