Button deck assembly for an electronic gaming machine and method for making the same
A button deck assembly includes a button deck having at least one mechanical pushbutton, the pushbutton includes a lens cap, a liquid-crystal display (LCD) panel, and an optical block configured to transmit images from the LCD panel for display through the lens cap, a bottom surface of the optical block is positioned on the LCD panel, an air gap is defined between a top surface of the optical block and the lens cap. The assembly also includes a printed circuit board (PCB) assembly defining a PCB aperture, the PCB aperture is sized to receive the optical block, and an elastomeric membrane defining a membrane aperture sized to receive the optical block, the optical block extends from the LCD panel through the PCB and membrane apertures, the membrane channels fluid flow to outer edges of the membrane and around the PCB assembly and the LCD panel.
FACEPLATES OF SWITCHING DEVICES HAVING PROGRAMMABLE FUNCTIONALITY MARKINGS AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
Present disclosure relates to a faceplate having programmable functionality markings for a switching device. The faceplate includes a functionality marking programmer, a functionality marking input interface, a functionality marking display and a circuit board. A user uses functionality marking programmer to designate switching device to a specific functionality with a corresponding functionality marking. The circuit board includes a control module. The control module includes a processor and a non-volatile memory storing an operating system and computer executable instructions, when executed at processor, computer executable instructions cause processor to: receive, from user through functionality marking input interface, functionality marking programming instructions, designate, by a functionality marking programmer, one of a set of functionality markings to the switching device according to the functionality marking programming instructions received from the functionality marking input interface, and display, by the functionality marking display on the faceplate, the programmed functionality marking of the switching device.
Controller
A control device includes: an output unit that outputs a signal for prompting an electronic device to execute a predetermined operation; a function switch unit that includes a plurality of switches each having a contactor formed such that at least a portion of the contactor is elastically displaceable in a predetermined direction; and a label body that has a display part and a protruding part protruding from the display part, the label body being mounted in a state where the protruding part is inserted into a hole in a housing and the display part is positioned on an outside of the housing. The protruding part of the label body determines a combination of open or closed states of the plurality of switches. The predetermined operation is determined according to the combination.

BUTTON WITH ILLUMINATION RING
A hardware product for creating a light ring and a dead front effect. The product may include a housing with an opening. The hardware product may also include a button positioned within the opening and configured to be depressed by a user. The button is constructed using a two-part molding process and includes a first shot and a second shot. The first shot is configured to disperse light around the perimeter shape of the opening. The second shot is constructed from an optically opaque or semi-opaque material A single light-emitting component electrically coupled to the circuit board provides light for creating the light ring.
Tool user interface ring
A user interface assembly that can be selectively attached to a housing of a tool, including mobile and handheld tools. The assembly can include a housing having an opening that extends through a first side of the housing. A user input device in the form of a rotatable and linearly displaceable control ring, which is housed in the housing, can extend within a portion of the opening such that the control ring is recessed from the first side of the housing. A display that can visually communicate tool information and selectable settings to the user can be positioned within the housing, and centrally located relative to a central bore of the control ring. The display, which can remain relatively static relative to a rotational displacement of the control ring, can be inwardly offset from a first side of the control ring, and thus also recessed within the housing.
Keyboard key structure and method of manufacturing a keycap of a keyboard key
A keyboard key structure includes a plurality of keycaps. Each keycap has a keycap body and an outward layer. The keycap body has an appearance with a first color. The outward layer has an appearance with a second color different from the first color. The outward layer is formed above the keycap body. The outward layer is formed with an engraving portion. The first color is exposed in the engraving portion. The present invention also provides a method of manufacturing a keycap of a keyboard key.

FLAT WALL SWITCH ASSEMBLY
A switch having a push panel, a rocker, and a rocker actuator that actuates the rocker each time the push panel is pushed by a user. The switch includes a conductive switch member, that is toggled by the rocker, to connect and disconnect a first terminal from a second terminal. The switch is constructed to help reduce dust and debris from entering into the wall switch, and the switch may provide a visual cue to indicate a current ON/OFF state of the switch.
Keypad having illuminated buttons
A control device for controlling power delivered to an electrical load may illuminate an area around a button of the control device, such as a gap formed between the button and an opening of a faceplate of the control device. The control device may illuminate the gap to provide a nightlight feature, to provide feedback (e.g., a status of the electrical load), and/or to indicate a selected preset. The button may have a cap portion that may be actuated by a user and a diffuser portion that may contact a rear surface of the cap portion and may conduct light emitted by an internal light source to illuminate the gap around the button.
