Module arrangement
The invention relates to a module arrangement (1) with a base module and at least one submodule (5); the base module has at least two connection modules. The submodule (5) can be put into contact via a connection module with a choice of one of the connection modules of the base module and can consequently be attached to the base module in different orientations. Detection devices for detecting the orientation of the submodule (5) attached to the base module are provided in the base module.
Electrical distribution system
Electrical distribution systems and methods comprising a first cable-to-box connector which accepts electrical wires, a first electrical box having a first and a second coupler to connect to the cable-to-box connector; intra-box circuits built in one or more of a plurality of walls of the first electrical box and connecting the first and the second coupler; and a concavity defined by the plurality of walls of the first electrical box that receives a first electrical insert.
METHOD FOR THE INITIAL ADJUSTMENT OF A CONTROL DEVICE FOR ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT
A method for control device adjustment comprising applying a preload simultaneously to a plurality of shafts of a control device so as to take up initial assembly play, wherein the control device comprises an upper actuating element that is movable relative to a lower supporting mounting, a lower supporting mounting, a switch that is actuated by the upper actuating element, and an articulated structure that is interposed vertically between the upper actuating element and the lower mounting to keep the upper actuating element parallel to a horizontal plane during its vertical downward movement relative to a frame, and the at least one shaft. The method also comprises providing an adjustment stop fixed relative to the lower mounting and forming a stop surface that interacts with a facing portion of the shaft.

MODIFIED AIRCRAFT SWITCH
Improvements a modified aircraft switch to protect from Foreign Object Debris (FOD) failure. The aircraft switch is manufactured from the factory as a new OEM switch, but can also be modified from a pre-existing switch. The switch and method to modify a switch to protect a widely used existing switch in military and commercial aircraft that is failing from Foreign Object Debris intrusion and failure from FOD.

Input apparatus for a games console
The invention provides an input apparatus (110) for a computer comprising an outer case (114) having a front face (F), a top face (T) and opposing side walls. The apparatus (110) comprises at least one control located on the top face (T) of the apparatus (110). The apparatus (110) is shaped to be held in both hands of a user such that the user's index fingers are positioned to operate the at least one control located on the top (T) of the apparatus (110). The at least one control comprising an actuator (101, 106), a first sensor (132), and a second sensor (130). The actuator (101, 106) comprises an actuator body (106B) and a detection target (134) mounted thereto. The actuator body (106B) extends through an opening in the outer case (114). The detection target (134) is detectable by the second sensor (130). The actuator (101, 106) comprises an actuator control mechanism (TC) having at least two configurations for controlling movement of the actuator (101, 106) relative to the outer case (114). The actuator control mechanism (TC) comprises a stopping block (136) moveable relative to the actuator body (106B) and has first face for activating the first sensor (132) in a first configuration and a second face for limiting travel of the actuator in a second configuration. The actuator control mechanism (TC) further comprises a selector for selecting a desired one of the at least two configurations.
Control device base that attaches to the paddle actuator of a mechanical switch
A remote control device may control electrical loads and/or load control devices of a load control system without accessing electrical wiring. The remote control device may be configured to be mounted over an installed mechanical switch having a paddle actuator and may include a base and a control unit that is configured to be removably attached to the base. The base may include a frame, a clamp arm, a screw, and/or a sleeve. The clamp arm may be configured to secure the base to a protruding portion of the paddle actuator. The clamp arm may be attached to the frame at a pivot joint. The clamp arm may be configured to pivot about the pivot joint. The pivot joint may be located proximate to an endpoint or a midpoint of the frame.
