Thermally actuated switch and forming dies
This invention is a thermally actuated switch in which a sealed vessel contains a fixed contact and a heat-sensitive-plate assembly that has a structure in which a movable contact is anchored to one lengthwise end of a heat-sensitive plate, one end of a metal support is anchored to the other end of said heat-sensitive plate, and the heat-sensitive plate is then drawn. The heat-sensitive-plate assembly has a dish-shaped drawn section near the middle of the heat-sensitive plate and has folded sections between the area where the movable contact is anchored and the widthwise edges of the heat-sensitive plate and also between the area where the metal support is anchored and the widthwise edges of the heat-sensitive plate.
Micro-switch and method of manufacture
An electric micro-switch has at least one electric contact. The contact has a profiled section. The profiled section has a longitudinal extension, a bent portion formed in the longitudinal extension and having an outer surface that is, at least in section, formed in a rounded manner. A contact region is defined on the outer surface of the bent portion. A method for manufacturing the micro-switch is also disclosed.
Switch and method for manufacturing same
A switch that more reliably prevents solvent permeation from the outside, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The switch includes a first molded resin molded integrally with a plurality of fixed contacts by insert molding, a movable member disposed above the first molded resin to bring the plurality of fixed contacts into and out of contact with each other, and a second molded resin molded so as to close a through hole of the first molded resin formed by a pin supporting the plurality of fixed contacts at a time of the insert molding.
Switch device and method for manufacturing switch device
A switch device includes a housing having a case and a holding member, a moving member, a biasing member, a movable contact, a common fixed contact, a first switching fixed contact, a second switching fixed contact, extending portions, at least two terminal members, and resistors for obtaining the resistance value between two terminal members, and fixing portions to which the resistors are soldered. The holding member includes a bottom wall portion that covers the bottom of the case, and a holding wall portion holding the fixing portions. The holding wall portion is formed of a first synthetic resin material having heat resistance, and the bottom wall portion is made of a second synthetic resin material having a heat distortion temperature lower than that of the first synthetic resin material. A method for manufacturing a switch device includes a first molding step, a resistor mounting step, and a second molding step.

Lead frame and manufacturing method of lead frame insert molded article
A lead frame 10 includes first and second frames 13, 14 and a fixed contact piece 15. The fixed contact piece 15 is integrally formed with the first frame via a conductive connection part 16. The first frame and the fixed contact piece 15 and the second frame have installation parts 13a, 14a, 14b, 15b to which resistance elements are able to install. The first frame 13 and the fixed contact piece have installation parts 13b, 15a to which resistance elements are able to install. Electrical circuits of different types are formed through combinations of whether the resistance elements are installed to the respective installation parts and whether the conductive connection part 16 is cut off.
Switch
A switch includes a housing and a metal terminal that is insert-molded into the housing. The metal terminal includes a contact portion provided on a first side of the metal terminal, an external connection portion provided on a second side of the metal terminal, and an embedded portion provided between the contact portion and the external connection portion and embedded in the housing. In the embedded portion, groove portions are formed in a front surface of the metal terminal and a rear surface of the metal terminal, the groove portions in the front surface being formed at positions different from the groove portions in the rear surface. The groove portions extend in a widthwise direction that is a direction intersecting an extending direction of the embedded portion.
