A system and method for monitoring a circuit breaker monitoring system includes a vibration sensor, a processing unit, and an output unit. The vibration sensor is mounted to a circuit breaker acquires a temporal vibration signal over at least a temporal portion of a closing operation of the circuit breaker, wherein the closing operation comprises: initiation of the closing operation, latch release, movement of a moveable contact towards a fixed contact, contact touch of the moveable contact with the fixed contact, and stop of movement of the moveable contact. The vibration sensor provides the temporal vibration signal to the processing unit, which determines a plurality of features of the closing operation and an indication of operational functionality of the circuit breaker.
METHOD OF CONTROLLING ELECTROMAGNETIC RELAY, AND CONTROL APPARATUS
A method of controlling an electromagnetic relay includes supplying a first voltage to an exciting coil to bring a movable terminal into contact with a fixing terminal; causing a coupling state determination unit to determine that a coupling failure is detected in a case where the movable terminal is not brought into contact with the fixing terminal and the electromagnetic relay is not turned on despite the supplying the first voltage to the exciting coil; and supplying a second voltage higher than the first voltage from a booster circuit to the exciting coil in a case where the coupling state determination unit determines that the coupling failure is detected. The second voltage is generated by boosting the first voltage by the booster circuit.
TEST BENCH FOR A BULB OF A CONTACTOR, ASSOCIATED TEST ASSEMBLY AND USE OF SUCH A TEST BENCH
A test bench for a contactor bulb includes: a frame, configured to fix the bulb therein, and an actuation device, borne by the frame and including an output shaft, centred on a longitudinal axis and translationally movable with respect to the frame parallel to the longitudinal axis between a front position and a rear position, the output shaft being configured to be connected to an actuation rod of the bulb. The actuation device is a moving magnet electromagnetic actuator.
GAS DENSITY RELAY WITH ONLINE SELF-CHECKING FUNCTION, AND CHECKING METHOD THEREFOR
The application provides a gas density relay with online self-check function and its check method, which are used for high voltage and medium-voltage electrical equipment. The gas density relay includes a gas density relay body, a first pressure sensor, a temperature sensor, a force measuring sensor, a driving contact action mechanism and an intelligent control unit. The driving contact action mechanism is configured to directly or indirectly drive the signal action mechanism of the gas density relay body to displacement, so that the gas density relay body will have contact signal action. The intelligent control unit will detect the alarm and/or blocking contact signal action value and/or return value of the gas density relay body according to the density value when the contact acts. Checking the gas density relay can be completed without maintainer coming to the site, which improves the reliability of the power grid, improves the efficiency, reduces the operation and maintenance cost, and can implement the maintenance free of the gas density relay.
Adjustable contactor
The present utility model discloses an adjustable contactor including: a static contact fixed in the contactor; a movable contact which is connected in the movable contact bracket through a contact spring, and which makes contact with the static contact in accordance with the movement of the movable contact bracket in the contactor; the contactor further includes adjusting knobs provided in the movable contact bracket at one end in connection with the contact spring while corresponding to the contact springs connected with individual movable contacts, the adjusting knob being set so that adjustment of the compression or release of the contact spring is achieved by rotating the adjusting knob so as to adjust the contact pressure of the movable contact.
RELAY DRIVE SYSTEMS
A drive system for a switch can include a control module configured to control, directly or indirectly, a state of a switch between a first state and a second state. The drive system can also include a transition timing system configured to measure a transition time that the switch is in transit between the first state and the second state.
