A motion sensing device for a vacuum circuit breaker, according to one embodiment of the present disclosure, comprises: a sensor module, installed adjacent to a main shaft, for sensing an operation state of the main shaft; and a bracket, coupled to the sensor module, for supporting the sensor module.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING FLUID-AFFECTED FUSES
20220130631 · 2022-04-28 ·

A fluid-affected fuse includes a structural housing, a pair of electric terminals, one or more fuse elements, and a fluid arranged in an internal volume of the structure. The structure provides rigidity to the fuse. The terminals are coupled to the structural housing and are configured to be coupled to an electric power circuit of a battery circuit. The one or more fuse elements are electrically connected in series to the pair of electric terminals and are arranged in the internal volume. The fluid is configured to affect a temperature of the fuse element. A fluid-filled fuse is filled with fluid, optionally sealed, and operated with the increased heat capacity of the fluid to affect temperature of the fuse. A fluid-cooled fuse is filled with the fluid, undergoing a stream of the fluid thus allowing control of fuse temperature. A control system controls the fluid stream and fuse operation.

METHOD FOR MONITORING AN ELECTROMECHANICAL COMPONENT OF AN AUTOMATED SYSTEM
20210358710 · 2021-11-18 ·

The present disclosure relates to a method for monitoring an electromechanical component of an automation system. The method includes sensing a current mechanical state variable of the electromechanical component, sensing a current electrical state variable of the electromechanical component and determining a state of the electromechanical component based at least in part on a behaviour model of the electromechanical component, wherein the behaviour model takes into account an effect of the sensed current mechanical state variable on the sensed current electrical state variable.

Determining a state of a switching unit

Method for detecting a state of a switching unit, the switching unit comprising an element that is movable between a first position and a second position.

Electromagnetic relay

A displaceable portion of a moving contactor is connected to, and electrically conductive with, a pair of moving contacts. An armature actuates the moving contactor. The armature has an adhering portion to be adhered onto an electromagnet. A space inside an opening that exposes a part (an exposed part) of the displaceable portion crosses a predetermined plane. The predetermined plane intersects at right angles with an arrangement direction (a first direction) in which the pair of moving contacts is arranged side by side. The predetermined plane passes through a center between both ends in the arrangement direction of the adhering portion.

Relay

A relay has a first fixed contact, a second fixed contact, a movable touch piece including a first movable contact that is disposed facing the first fixed contact, and a second movable contact that is disposed facing the second fixed contact, the movable touch piece being disposed so as to be movable in a contact direction in which the first movable contact and the second movable contact come into contact with the first fixed contact and the second fixed contact and a separation direction in which the first movable contact and the second movable contact separate from the first fixed contact and the second fixed contact, and a drive device disposed in the contact direction with respect to the movable touch piece and configured to generate a driving force for moving the movable touch piece.
