Input device
An input device includes: a rotating member that rotates about a predetermined rotation axis; and a mover that includes a protrusion protruding toward an inner peripheral surface of the rotating member and moves in a direction different from a rotation direction of the rotating member along with rotation of the rotating member. The protrusion protrudes toward an inner peripheral surface of the rotating member. The rotating member includes a first projection and a second projection that project from the inner peripheral surface toward the mover. The protrusion of the mover is inclined with respect to the predetermined rotation axis and disposed between the first projection and the second projection.
ROTARY ACTUATOR
A rotary actuator includes a cylindrical main body, an actuating handle placed on the cylindrical main body and having a display area, a crown, and an inserted base which is arranged in the cylindrical main body and has contours which engage in contours of the crown. The rotary actuator further includes a guide element for guiding the inserted base and the crown.
On/off switch arrangement for a pivotable display screen in a motor vehicle
An ON/OFF switch arrangement is for a display screen pivotably mounted within a motor vehicle. The arrangement includes a mounting bracket retaining the display screen and pivotably attached to the motor vehicle such that the mounting bracket may be pivoted about an axis. A switch assembly includes a rotor attached to the mounting bracket. A contactor is attached to the rotor. A base is attached to the motor vehicle such that the rotor and the contactor rotate about the axis relative to the base when the mounting bracket is pivoted. The base has two spaced apart electrical contacts. The contactor electrically interconnects the two contacts within a first range of rotational positions of the rotor, and the contactor does not interconnect the two contacts within a second range of rotational positions of the rotor.

SWITCHING SYSTEM
A switching system, in particular of an on-board electrical system of a motor vehicle having a first disc which has a first, a second, a third, and a fourth stationary contact. The second and the third stationary contact, are electrically contacted by a first contact bar of the first disc. The switching system also has a second disc which has a first, a second, a third, and a fourth movable contact. The first and the second movable contact are electrically contacted by a second contact bar of the second disc, and the third and the fourth movable contact are electrically contacted by a third contact bar of the second disc. The second disc is rotationally mounted about a rotational axis relative to the first disc, wherein all the contacts are electrically connected in series in an angular position. A circuit breaker is also provided that includes a switching system.
Rotatable switch for appliance valve
Embodiments of the invention provide a switch for use with an appliance valve, such as for gas appliances. The switch may comprise a base for coupling the switch to a valve, a rotatable hub in communication with the base and providing rotation therewith, a first protrusion projecting outwardly from the hub, and a detent disposed on the base and in communication with the first protrusion for resisting rotatable motion of the hub. Rotation of the hub in a first direction for turning an appliance valve to an on position requires the first protrusion to flexibly deflect the detent to permit the hub to rotate past the detent. As a result, danger of inadvertent rotation of the switch is reduced.
ELECTRONIC PARK BRAKE INTERFACE MODULE, PARK BRAKE CONTROLLER AND SYSTEM
Various examples of park brake interface modules which are utilized as human machine interfaces (HMI) in vehicles are provided. In one example, a park brake interface module for a vehicle includes an actuation member mounted to an electromechanical switch to actuate the park brake. The actuation member includes a finger pad opposite the front surface and the actuation member is movable between a brake apply position and a brake release position to actuate the vehicle park brake. In another example, the actuation member is pivotally mounted to the electromechanical switch device and the actuation member is pivotable between the brake apply position and the brake release positions to actuate the park brake.
Battery assembly and electronic cigarette having same
An exemplary battery assembly for an electronic cigarette includes a housing, a battery received in the housing, and a first switch assembly connected to the battery. The first switch assembly includes a fixed electrode, and a rotatable electrode. The fixed electrode is connected to the battery. The fixed electrode has a conductive area and an insulated area. The rotatable electrode is rotatable between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the rotatable electrode is in contact with the conductive area, thus connecting to the fixed electrode, and the first switch assembly is turned on. In the second position, the rotatable electrode is positioned in the insulated area, thus disconnecting from the fixed electrode, and the first switch assembly is turned off.

Isolating ground switch
An isolation ground switch has a housing having a front housing portion and a back housing portion defining a housing cavity therebetween. A conductive switch plate is positioned in the housing cavity and rotatable between a closed position and an open position. A plurality of termination studs are mounted to the front housing portion, each termination stud having a conductive projection extending into the housing cavity. The conductive projection of each termination stud engages the switch plate when the switch plate rotates to the closed position, and when the switch plate rotates to the open position, the switch plate does not contact the termination studs and is conductively isolated.
