A switchgear includes a movable part capable of reciprocating movement, a movable contact coupled to the movable part, a member that biases the movable contact, a latch capable of switching between a first state in which movement of the movable contact is restricted and a second state in which movement is permitted, a part that accommodates the movable part and the movable contact therein, a fixed contact provided outside of the accommodating part, and a moving part that moves with the movable contact. The latch is switched to the second state when the movable contact has moved against the biasing force. The accommodating part contains a first region and a second region, which is on a side of the fixed contact with respect to the first region within a range of movement of the moving part. The first region has an inner diameter smaller than that of the second region.
THREE-POSITION DISCONNECTOR SWITCH
A three-position disconnector switch includes: an earthing contact; a power out contact; a power in contact; a first piston; and a second piston. In a connected switch position the first piston makes an electrical connection with the power out contact and the second piston makes an electrical connection with the power out contact and the power in contact. In a disconnected switch position the first piston makes an electrical connection with the power out contact and the second piston makes an electrical connection with the power out contact. In an earthed switch position the first piston makes an electrical connection with the earthing contact and with the power out contact and the second piston makes an electrical connection with the power out contact.
POTENTIAL EQUALISATION SYSTEM FOR A MODULAR MULTILEVEL CONVERTER
A potential equalization system for a modular multi-level converter. The converter has a plurality of converter modules and each of the modules has a direct current source. The potential equalization system includes pole contacts, which are each electrically connected to one pole of a direct current source, and at least one electrically conductive contacting element, which can be moved between a first end position in which the contacting element is electrically isolated from the converter modules and a second end position in which the contacting element contacts pole contacts of different direct current sources and can be put on ground potential.
SWITCHGEAR
A switchgear includes: a tank having a first through hole; a fixed contact in the tank; a movable contact capable of reciprocating between a position in contact with the fixed contact and a position separated from the fixed contact; and an operating rod capable of reciprocating in a direction parallel to the direction of movement of the movable contact, and penetrating through the first through hole. The switchgear further includes: a connecting plate connecting the movable contact and the operating rod; a shielding plate disposed closer to the fixed contact than the connecting plate, having a second through hole through which the operating rod penetrates and a third through hole through which the movable contact is capable of passing formed therein; a first bearing disposed in the first through hole to support the operating rod; and a second bearing disposed in the second through hole to support the operating rod.
Switchgear
A switchgear includes a movable part capable of reciprocating movement in first and second directions, a movable contact coupled to the movable part and capable of reciprocating movement relative to the movable part, a biasing member that biases the movable contact, a latch part capable of switching between a first state in which movement of the movable contact in the first direction is restricted and a second state in which movement of the movable contact in the first direction is permitted, and a fixed contact provided on a side of the first direction with respect to the movable contact. When the movable part and the movable contact move in the first direction, after movement for a predetermined distance, the movement of the movable contact is restricted by the latch part in the first state, and then, when the movable part has moved further in the first direction, the latch part is switched to the second state.
Distribution grounding switch to support distributed energy resources
A distribution grounding switch for an electricity distribution network has a first electrical terminal adapted connectable to a mains line, a second electrical terminal connectable to a lateral line, a first vacuum bottle having a pair of contactors therein, a second vacuum bottle having a pair of contactors therein, and a magnetic linkage cooperative with one of the pair of contactors of the first vacuum bottle and one of the pair of contactors of the second vacuum bottle so as to cause the pair of contactors of the first vacuum bottle the close while generally simultaneously causing the pair of contactors of the second vacuum bottle to open. The mechanical linkage also causes the pair of contactors of the first vacuum bottle to open generally simultaneously with the closing of the pair of contactors of the second vacuum bottle.
SWITCH ASSEMBLY FOR DETECTION UNIT OF SWITCHGEAR OR CONTROLGEAR AND ASSOCIATED COMPARTMENT AND SWITCHGEAR
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a switch assembly for a detection unit of a switchgear or controlgear. The switch assembly comprises a shaft rotatably arranged between opposite side walls of a compartment for accommodating an electrical component, the electrical component coupled to at least one connecting busbar of the switchgear; at least one conductive unit, each conductive unit being rotatable about the shaft between an open position and a close position; and at least one coupling mechanism arranged in the compartment and configured to electrically couple the conductive unit to the detection unit, wherein each coupling mechanism is electrically coupled to the respective connecting busbar when the conductive unit is in the close position, and is electrically decoupled from the respective connecting busbar when the conductive unit is in the open position and is grounded, and wherein each coupling mechanism comprises a connecting unit for receiving a terminal of the detection unit positioned outside the compartment. In this way, maintenance or replacement of the detection unit will not affect the airtightness of the compartment. Furthermore, the connecting unit can also be used to receive the terminal of other kind of detection unit, such as terminals of test assemblies.
SWITCHGEAR
