A battery assembly is configured to be inserted into the battery tube. The battery assembly includes a battery assembly body having a first end and a second end. A battery is positioned in the battery assembly body. The battery assembly is configured such that both a positive contact and a negative contact are exposed from the second end of the battery assembly body. In some embodiments, the battery assembly includes a keyed portion mates with the battery tube to ensure alignment of the battery assembly in the battery tube.

A cap is connected to the assembly body and configured to connect the battery assembly to the battery tube. The cap includes a torque-limiting device that prevents overtightening of the cap to the battery tube.

The conductive circuit member includes a conductive end cover, an upper conductive rod, a pressing sleeve, a coupling nut, a conductive sleeve pipe, a stationary contact, a movable contact, and a lower conductive rod. The switch-closing member includes a switch-closing energy-storage rod, a switch-closing energy-storage ring, a switch-closing spring, a switch-closing positioning pin, a switch-closing release ring, and an inner sleeve pipe. The switch-opening member includes a small shaft, a switch-opening spring, a stopping block, a switch-opening energy-storage shaft, a connection rod, a switch-opening energy-storage pressing head, a switch-opening positioning pin, and a switch-opening release ring.

A load break tool for opening a high load electrical switch having a first switch contact and a second switch contact. The load break tool includes a main body extending along a longitudinal axis between a first end and a second end. The main body is movable between an extended configuration and a retracted configuration. A first contact is coupled to the first end and configured to selectively couple with the first switch contact. A second contact is coupled to the second end and configured to selectively couple with the second switch contact. In the retracted configuration the first contact is in electrical communication with the second contact. A spring assembly is mounted in the main body for biasing the main body to the retracted configuration, the spring assembly including a compression spring.

A load break cutout refuser includes an actuator configured to couple to a fuse cutout. A receiver is communicatively coupled to the actuator. The receiver is configured to receive a signal from a transmitter remote from the receiver. The actuator is configured to close the fuse cutout in response to the signal received by the receiver. A system includes the refuser and a transmitter remote from the fuse cutout, receiver, and actuator to send a signal to the receiver to cause the actuator to close the fuse cutout. A method of closing a fuse cutout using the load break cutout refuser system is also disclosed.

A load break tool includes a main body extending along a longitudinal axis between a first end and a second end. The main body is movable between an extended configuration and a retracted configuration. The main body includes an indicator housing having a window. The trigger assembly includes an indicator viewable by a user through the window when the main body is in the retracted position.
