MEDIUM-VOLTAGE SWITCHGEAR SYSTEM HAVING SINGLE PHASE BREAKER CONTROL
A medium-voltage switchgear system includes a three-phase circuit breaker having first, second and third single-phase vacuum interrupters connected between respective first, second and third single-phase inputs and first, second and third single-phase outputs. Magnetic actuators are connected to first, second and third single-phase vacuum interrupters, which are configured to receive an interrupt signal and in response, actuate the respective vacuum interrupter connected thereto into an open circuit condition. A controller circuit is connected to each of the first, second and third magnetic actuators and generates an interrupt signal in response to a detected single-phase overcurrent or fault on a single-phase circuit and interrupt that single-phase circuit on which the single-phase overcurrent or fault occurred and maintain power on the remaining two single-phase circuits over which a single-phase overcurrent or fault was not detected.
Conductor Temperature Detector
Various implementations described herein are directed to a method for detecting, by a device, an increase in temperature at certain parts of an electrical system, and taking appropriate responsive action. The method may include measuring temperatures at certain locations within the system and estimating temperatures at other locations based on the measurements. Some embodiments disclosed herein include an integrated cable combining electrical conduction and heat-detection capabilities, or an integrated cable or connector combining electrical conduction with a thermal fuse.

Industrial circuit breaker
A circuit breaker includes two or more poles electrically connected between a power supply and a contactor. Each of the two or more poles comprises a switch. The circuit breaker includes one or more voltage measuring devices configured to measure at least one phase-to-phase voltage level, and one or more current detecting devices configured to detect current going through each of the two or more poles. The circuit breaker further includes a control circuitry configured to: monitor the at least one phase-to-phase voltage level; in response to determining the at least one phase-to-phase voltage level is within a threshold range, close corresponding switches; in response to detecting current flowing through at least one of the two or more poles, maintain the corresponding switches in a closed position; and close all additional switches associated with the two or more poles after a period of time.

HIGH-VOLTAGE DEVICE AND METHOD FOR INCREASING THE DIELECTRIC STRENGTH IN THE HIGH-VOLTAGE DEVICE
A high-voltage device has an encapsulation housing and at least one bushing for at least one conductor, through which a current flows, into the encapsulation housing and/or out of the encapsulation housing. At least one electrode at free potential is surrounded by the bushing. The at least one electrode at free potential increases the dielectric strength in the high-voltage device, especially in the region of the bushing.
MEDIUM VOLTAGE SWITCHING APPARATUS
A switching apparatus including one or more electric poles. For each electric pole, the switching apparatus includes a first pole terminal, a second pole terminal, and a ground terminal. The switching apparatus further includes a plurality of fixed contacts spaced apart one from another, a movable contact, which is reversibly movable about a corresponding rotation axis according to opposite first and second rotation directions, so that said movable contact can be coupled to or uncoupled from one or more of the above-mentioned fixed contacts, a vacuum interrupter including a vacuum chamber, in which a fixed arc contact and a movable arc contact are enclosed and can be coupled or separated, and a motion transmission mechanism operatively coupled to the movable arc contact of said vacuum interrupter.
